I love slushies and I was hoping to have a summer filled with them. Unfortunately, full-on slushies will not be happening with these cups. I left them in the freezer over night. Put in liquid that was refrigerated throughout the night, squeezed the cup for a solid 10 minutes, and got slightly slushed juice. Maybe it would be better if you put the liquid on the already frozen cup back in the freezer for a little while.

These are great for the summer. They make a slushie super quick and the kids love them. They don’t hold a whole lot but they’re perfect for younger kids. You’re able to make slushies of your choice with natural ingredients. Takes a bit to get cold enough to work but as a snack per day these are perfect. Super easy to wash out as it’s smooth on the inside.

I don’t know how these actually work, but all I can say is they are disgusting! I washed them thoroughly with soapy warm water before using them. Put them in the freezer for a few hours and then added regular soda to the cups. After squeezing them over and over again, the soda turned a rubber consistency And were certainly not like any slushy I have ever had. Even scooping a little bit up with the spoon was almost impossible. I ventured to taste it and it even felt just like eating rubber would. And The smell! Even my son commented that it smelled like a chlorine pool. I immediately threw these things out because there was no way I was going to let my child consume whatever chemical concoction this resulted in. I would not recommend these at all!

I was excited to try the Tgosomt Slushie Maker Cups, and they did not disappoint! My family has had a blast making custom slushies with these, and the process is incredibly simple and fun.First use: I froze the cups overnight (recommended 5–6 hours, but I went for a full night) and then my 11-year-old was the first to try them. When she saw the cups, her first thought was that they might not work, but after seeing me make an energy drink slushie earlier, she was eager to give it a try. She poured in some chilled apple juice, squeezed the cup, and in just about 5 minutes, had a slushie! There was no need for complicated instructions — she got it right away, though she did mention her fingers were very cold (totally understandable with the freezing process). I didn’t mind the cold on my hands, though I was definitely aware of it.Flavor: The best part is that the slushie tastes just like the original drink, but in a fun new slushy form. We’ve used apple juice, energy drinks, and other juices with great success — all without any ice melting into the drink, which is a nice touch since it preserves the flavor.Cleaning: Cleaning is quick and easy — I just rinsed them under warm water. The little crevices inside the cup itself require a bit more attention, but it only takes a few minutes per cup. Not a huge hassle, and the cups dry well.Size: The 210 mL capacity is perfect for kids (my 4- and 11-year-olds love it), but for me personally, I wish the cups were a little larger. However, I understand there’s a practical limit to how much can fit and still work effectively with the magic freezing process.Durability: So far, the cups have held up well after multiple uses and washes. They’re made of squishy silicone-like material, so unless you drop them right on the plastic ring, they’re pretty durable and bounce back without issue.Straw Spoon: The included 2-in-1 straw spoon works fine. It doesn’t really fit into the hole at the top of the lid, but an easy solution is to remove the lid and attach the spoon directly. No big deal.A small suggestion: The cups are easy to hold by the top plastic ring when done, but I do wish they came with a hard outer sleeve for better grip and to make them feel more like a traditional cup. For now, I’m holding them by the top, but I might look for a cup that fits around them for extra convenience.Overall, these slushie maker cups are a fun, creative, and easy way to enjoy customized slushies at home. They’re perfect for kids and adults alike and provide endless DIY flavor possibilities. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for a fun way to cool off with a treat!

My family and I were amazed at how well this slushie maker cup worked. I washed it out with dishwashing soap and warm water as the cup has a really strong plastic smell to it. (Sort of like the same smell of when you unpack new pool inflatables.) Anyway, I must have had the cups in the freezer for at least 7 hours before trying one out. My daughter tried pouring chilled apple juice about half way into the cup, put the cap back on and squished away for maybe 4 or 5 minutes when it started turning into the icy consistency of apple sauce. She was thirsty and stopped at about the 5 minute mark to attach the spoon to the end of the straw (that are included) and sipped away. She felt that it was slushy enough to her liking and took a sip. She said that it still tasted like drinking regular apple juice with little ice slivers in it. She didn’t feel that she could smell or taste the plastic smell from the cup. This will be perfect for our upcoming hot end of spring and summer weather.
