When I first received this slushie cup, I was concerned about a strong plastic/chemical smell from the inner liner, even after washing it with warm, soapy water. I chose not to use it initially and mentioned my concern in a review. Shortly afterward, I received a kind email from the seller asking if I had any questions. I did, and they were happy to answer them. Here is my updated review: I tried my slushie cup today for the first time. It had been frozen solid overnight. I poured in ten ounces of tropical fruit juice and used the included spoon to scrape the sides. It began to freeze quickly! I couldn't squeeze the cup at first, so I let it thaw slightly to fully enjoy the experience. Once I could squeeze it, I did enjoy it. I put the juice back in, secured the lid, squeezed it, and it quickly turned into a delightful slushie, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

This is a fun and easy way to turn your favorite drink into a slushie and get a serious hand workout too. It turned a ready-to-drink protein shake into a smooth, creamy thick milkshake texture. I had to do it in 2 batches since you can only fit so much into the cup, due to the freezing gel taking up quite a bit of space. The second batch was just as frozen and creamy as the first. Cleaning it was a bit difficult and I had to use a small brush meant for cleaning straws to get the top of it clean. I wish the straw was a bit longer, but overall a fun experience.

Oh my gosh! These slushy cups are SO much fun! My boyfriend, his two kids, and myself have had such a great time making slushies, with this cup—so much so, that I had to order two more!I’m not sure how long the cup will hold up, since it does require squeezing the liquid, in order to make it into a slush—And I can see that potentially causing the liner to tear away from the rim, with extended use. However, only time will tell, and even if that is the case, the joy this cup will bring you and yours makes it 100% still worth it.Simply place the cup in your freezer, for at least four hours or so; although, I elected to freeze mine overnight. Then, add your desired liquid, and start to squeeze. I was amazed at how rapidly the liquid turned into slushy ice!Don’t even hesitate—Just go ahead and buy now!

This is a fun product for kids or adults!It does work best with carbonated liquids like soda. Juices don't seem to "slush" as much as sodas, but they do "slush".The cup did have rubbery, chemical odor when I got it, but I filled it with hot water and let it sit for a while before freezing it, and the odors were gone. I left mine in the freezer overnight, and it was ready to go the next morning. There was no aftertaste from the cup itself, and it was super easy to clean and freeze again.Since this cup is so easy to use, it makes a nice alternative to the slushies you get at convenience stores.

I love this slushy cup!! I had it in the freezer overnight. I put lemonade in it and tried to squish it. That’s when I learned that you need to leave it out for a little bit so it gets squishy. It of course still worked really well. The other reason to leave it out is because when I got about half way through it was too frozen. The second time I left it out and used chocolate milk. That was super yummy. This is going to be great for summer!

This slushy cup really exceeded my expectation. So easy to use. Just freeze the cup, pour in your favorite beverage or drink and squeeze. I've used it with juice, wine coolers and carbonated sodas. It turns out perfect each time. After squeezing about a minute you will see it start to freeze and get slushy. I highly recommend this item.

Well I gave it two stars because in the beginning it worked, for two slushies. After that, the top separated from the bottom and is no longer usable, it's just a cheap piece of crap. I was super excited to get this, the cup doesn't hold much liquid because of the baffles inside that makes the slushie. It's easy to clean, if you rinse it immediately after use then return it to the freezer so it refreezes for next time. First slushie was great, second slushie started good but after putting my soda in it and I began to squeeze the ring around the top popped off and then the seam separated.Don't waste your money on this one!

You know how it is when you see something like this and your kids get all excited and want one?! They show it to you and say it will work MOM!! PLEASE CAN WE GET ONE?! We have bought a few different things to make slushies and NONE OF THEM DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY COULD DO! Except THIS ONE!!! This thing is AMAZING & SO SIMPLE to use!! You put it in the freezer for about 3-4 hours. Then if you’re ME, you get the instructions out! While you read them, your GRANDCHILD will take over! They will simply take the cup and pour whatever they want into the cup, put the cover on (even though it has a huge hole in the top of the lid!) and start SQUISHING the cup!! That’s what happened at my house! They had it made before I was finished reading the instructions!! They made a frozen diet Rootbeer!! It looked EXACTLY like the frozen cokes you get at the convenience stores! And it tasted even BETTER!! I couldn’t believe it!! But don’t get just one!! You save a little if you buy 2 and you’re going to NEED MORE THAN ONE!! I love the frozen drinks at the gas stations and I like the blue flavored ones but they are FULL OF SUGAR!! This way you make it with whatever YOU WANT!! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS SLUSHY MAKING CUP!! It’s AMAZING & your kids/grands will love it!! You probably will too!
