I've given up on drip coffee makers years ago as they are very inconsistent in brewing a great cup of coffee. I love our Aeropress coffee maker, but sometimes I want a larger quantity for family and this Ubeca French press is absolutely great. The brew is strong (of course you can adjust the strength by amount of coffee grounds) without any bitterness you sometimes get with drip. I love that the glass carafe is almost totally protected, making it feel more sturdy and less likely to break or crack. I think it also gives the press a more distinctive and appealing look. The plunger works flawlessly and there were no grounds in the final brew. Like most French presses, it isn't as easy to clean as a drip machine, but the grounds come out easily and the glass rinses off nicely. I also like that the press came with extra screens.

This is a legit great french press. I love the outer holder design to keep the glass safe and the coffee temperature consistent. This is so easy to use and very functional. It came with extra filter screens, too! This is super easy to pull apart and clean- hot soapy water is enough. It has a nice weight to it and feels durable and of good quality materials. I can pitch my broken one!

My husband and I are admittedly a little silly snobbish about our coffee - not that we go around talking about it, but we definitely have specific preferences. Dark roast, organic beans, full-bodied without bitterness, good burr grinder... and yes, the brewing method matters a lot. Between our high-pressure espresso machine, a Finnish drip-style maker with perfect brew temp control, and a couple of coffee presses, we take our morning and evening coffee rituals seriously because we enjoy them so much. So when a new gadget looks promising, I can’t help but investigate. This French press surprised me - in a good way. It arrived very early in the morning, so was able to give it a quick wash, and put it right to the test. It performed just as well as our smaller Bodum presses, but this one holds a full liter, so I can make a proper amount of coffee for myself or share with my husband.I also appreciate the exterior housing - it adds a layer of security when handling delicate borosilicate glass, which is specifically designed to withstand near-boiling water but can still feel fragile in the hand. The housing gives it a sturdier grip and peace of mind during pouring. Bonus: it slips off easily for quick, thorough cleaning. As for the pressing mechanism? Smooth and effective.I’m already excited to use it for quick iced coffee: medium-grind beans, steep, press, chill, and enjoy later.Bottom line: A thoughtful design, budget-friendly press that holds a large amount of coffee and also holds its own against more established European and American brands.

This French press is so easy to use. You need to boil water first in order to pour it into the press. You get two extra metal mesh filters. It is a fuller flavor with a French press since the grounds can steep in the hot water rather than just be poured over the grounds. This method gives a deeper flavor of the grounds. Great product and compact. So simple but absolutely worth it for the full flavor of coffee or even tea.

As a coffee lover, I have to say this French Press truly surprised me. I had one before, but the carafe broke, so while looking for alternatives, I came across this one. What initially caught my eye was its design. Plus, the box has a unique style, and when I opened it, I was pleasantly surprised to find two stickers with coffee-related quotes. My wife loved them; it’s a simple yet thoughtful touch. The color, design, and quality of this French Press stand out—it feels premium and not cheap at all. In fact, according to my wife, it adds a unique and elegant touch to the kitchen. I think it’s an excellent gift for coffee enthusiasts. One feature I really appreciate is that the carafe is made of borosilicate glass, dishwasher-safe, and it doesn’t leave any grounds behind, unlike my previous French Press. Highly recommended!
