Seems like there is always a need to get a small accurate measurement on something. This time it was on a bead that I needed to order some of like size. Squinting at the mm markings on a ruler wasn't cutting it. Just received this gauge a week earlier than expected and it is great! Was a little stiff to use at first but asked the seller a question and got a response in just a couple of hours and the slide on the gauge has already loosened up. Love it!

Perfect gauge for the price. Two were included in the reasonable price. Just what I was looking for measures in inches and millimeters.

Small enough to carry in pocket. With taking a ~1/2" off the end, it will fit reasonably well in a wallet. I take this when shopping at the hardware store. It could even be engraved for a small gift.I dislike digital ones because they all/most read in 128ths of an inch making them uselessly hard to use. Does a proho ever need 128ths? 32nds even? I only need 16th accuracy. I find it irritating if it reads 57/128. Why do I need to round in my head? If you are a machinist, you are probably using metric. Plus my digital one's battery dies every year, which is every third time I used it as it is too big to carry.
