Hang the stick on an outside wall of your house, on a tree, a fence, a door or a window casing, exposed to the weather. Mount your weatherstick about 6 feet high to avoid breakage. For best results, give your weatherstick a south or west exposure; it will take 4 to 8 days to become acclimatized. Stick bends up to foretell fair weather, down for foul.

I ordered this purely for nostalgia, I’m from Quebec and as a kid I remember these on all the houses. However, surprised to see as an adult that they actually have a function! And it works! Maybe not as precise as the weather channel but I love peeking out the window to see how the stick is hanging today. Great quirky gift, would absolutely recommend this particular item/seller

The weather stick never operated as advertised, even after leaving outside for the duration required by the seller. The previous weather stick that had been outside worked perfectly until broken by workers.

I remember my extended relatives giving me one of these as kids. I had forgot about them, then order some for myself and other family members as gift.They tend to struggle a little with our humidity but work well.

I put this on a tree that I can see from my window and check it everyday to see what the weather looks like for rain or sunshineIt seems to be a good indicator
