Simple to install? No… Programming required thermostat with a large bright display that’s perfect for older eyes. Changing out your thermostat is never quick and easy but the step by step directions in the install guide turned this into a homeowner project. The directions included all the possible equipment options, critical wire labeling, and they also included the labels needed. A separate programming book made final set up easy. This is a good value that a homeowner should be able to install themselves.

This is a very nice non programmable thermostat, We are using it on a Rheem Package Heat Pump and it works great, This thermostat is easy to setup, calibrate if needed and will also work without batteries if you have your transformer common wire connected, Also please don't think the display fades with the blue backlight on its just the way the camera sees it, Very clear bright blue with nice large easy to read display, Definitely Recommended

A few years ago we installed two mini split heat pumps to provide both heating and cooling in our upstairs and downstairs living areas. Since that time we have had no need to use our gas furnace, which now we are reserving only as a backup for emergency use if the mini splits malfunction. Thus, we have no real need for our 30 year old programmable thermostat that was also having some problems before we installed our mini splits.I ordered this Miuputake (where do the come up with these Amazon store names?) NonProgrammable Thermostat simply to replace our old and failing programmable thermostat. It is a simple and easy to use replacement thermostat at a very reasonable price.
