Great gift for Thomas lovers. My toddler loved this set and has played with it ever since. All of the cars have withstood a good amount of child abuse and are still puffing along. They're dye cast so are super troopers.

My 4 year old is a big Thomas fan, so I snapped these up to put in his Christmas stocking. He loves them! They are a great addition to his collection. The set features a variety of characters, so that is fun. The trains are made of metal so they are nice and sturdy. They are a good size, a few inches long similar to Hot Wheels so they are perfect for small hands. The size is also great for traveling, they are easy to toss in a bag for convenience. They also can all hook and connect to mix and match as a longer train. Hours of fun!

Each one has its own charm; Thomas is the leader, Percy's just adorable, Diesel still brings a bit of mischief, while Carly and Sandy are the stars with their fun roles.They're made from diecast metal, which gives them that satisfying heft when you push them around. They work with all Thomas & Friends tracks, plus they also fit most Hot Wheels tracks as well.What's neat about this set is the attention to detail - little hard hats, mini tools, the works. The scratches, dirt, and rust also look very cool.These are also a great way for your kid to practice movements and come up with some epic stories.

Quality of the metal cars but uniqueness of trains instead. Looks nice. Feels like it will last rough handling.
