fast charging and well designed. Keeps going for longer than others. Great to un-click and put in pockets for saving. Look and functionality, very nice;-)

One of the features I looked forward to in this design, was an easy access to mount and dismount from the rubber cradle and put it away when leaving my bike on the streets, unfortunately, as many others mentioned it, this feature interfieres with the functionality of turning on and off the lights, they just come off when you turn the dial. This is unfortunate because the lights look great A+ for looks, C for function. In addition, and this is not related to the company, I live in a city where everything is for grabs, so I got the rubber crade stolen from the bike, so I can't even use the still functioning light.

I wish I could have recommended this light, but if you are considering buying this, make sure you are okay with the following:1. The light charges only with fixed 5V charger (The cable provided), if you have a power delivery charger or just trying to connect it via USB-C to USB-C from your Mac, it won't charge.2. The locking mechanism is not so good, the magnet helps, but it's not strong enough.EDIT:The locking mechanism was too flimsy, during one of my rides, the rear light just dropped and I lost...Aside from this, the design is clean and the light is bright

I have a helmet from Thousand which I LOVE so I figured the lights would be designed with equal care and intelligence.Unfortunately these have a ton of problems and I would highly advise against buying these.Pros:- looks fantastic (easily the best-looking, sleekest lights out there)- very easy to install- I liked that you could take the light off to recharge without having to unmount the strapCons:- as a bunch of others have mentioned, the dial design is really flawed and extremely frustrating to operate (why not just have a button or switch?). even months after owning it, it still takes a couple of angry attempts to get it to the setting I want. Even just trying to switch it on/off is a pain and I will VERY often just accidentally twist it off the mount. And don’t even think about trying to operate this while you’re riding your bike…- I can’t tell if this is intentional or an individual product flaw, but my front light flash settings (both of them) have this really weird irregular rhythm where the front light only projects light “forward” (illuminate the street) every few beats. This makes for a pretty jarring night time riding experience and messes with my night vision.- front light isn’t really that bright for street illumination- the rubber mounting strap on one of my lights broke after a couple months of use. Since it’s designed as integral to the body there’s no way to replace or fix just the broken band, so the whole light is trash now. Terrible design for the longevity / sustainability of the product.- Rear light flash modes mysteriously stopped working (just brighter and dimmer constant light modes)Such a pity because these are such good-looking lights ! But all the design flaws make these unbearable to use and definitely not worth the price. I bought some less sexy lights from REI to replace these and I’m WAYYYY happier with them.

After a couple months of normal use, the plastics tabs wore away so the light cannot be turned off or on. Too bad since otherwise liked the lights. If the company decides to fix this, they should add metal parts for securing the light to the holder.

While I'm not a fan of their bike helmets, these detachable lights hit the spot perfectly. they're just the right size without taking up too much space and the, battery life is fantastic on them, as is their overall brightness. the different modes, that you can activate with a simple twist is also a great feature, and while they are a little more expensive, you really get what you pay for.

Works great in pairs of two for a headlight, seems more a "safety" light for the front that happens to be white... charges fast - one thing I don't like is I feel like someone will steal the worthless to them without the light connector, it just straps on with stretchy rubber its not secure from theft at all and it has a slick saying on it, making it look like it might actually be something of value, lets see how long it lasts... kinda defeats the purpose of the detachable light, though now that I realized it works stand alone as a somewhat strong magnetic mountable light - that's pretty awesome... also has two levels of flashing and only one solid level further cementing my thoughts this is more a front white safety light then headlight intended - in which case it's way over priced really - might send it back if the second one doesn't really light it up nicely... I'll revisit this review later - edit - with two it shines up nice and is suitable for use as a headlight system but it still doesn't go that far, far enough for a bike but further would be better and safer, I'm going to keep them though they are neat and versatile thanks to being magnetic., if I decide I need a longer range bike light I can use these as long lasting rechargable magnetic lights in my van or something.
