It works as designed. Gave it 24h to cure prior to filling oil and no leaks! It seems to do a good job of bonding to surfaces that may still have a bit of dirt, oil, or other fluids on it. That's something I didn't get with off the shelf blue rtv

great stuff, this is what Nissan recommends for their timing covers, oil pans, etc.
