Thule has some kind of racket in the United States with several car manufacturers. Thule makes the OEM roof carriers, but use a slightly different t-track bolt which isn’t cross-compatible with other Thule products like the ProRide or TopRide - forcing owners like me - who’ve spent thousands of dollars, to order bolts from the UK/EU.

I used these to convert a bike carrier from the old bar style (clamped on) roof rack to the newer style installed in a slot on the cross bars. (BMW Thule roof rack)

If you buy a Thule Pro Ride rack In the USA and you want to install it on Mini Cooper or BMW cross bars, you need these bolts. Thule knows it. It does not import them to the USA. You simply buy them from this reputable UK source. They are Thule bolts and come in Thule packaging.
