works amazing for my 10 year old husky's anxiety. she likes wearing it- which is surprising and she has had no accidents in the house at night when wearing it. the second i put it on her she seems much more relaxed. its weird to explain but i wish i would have bought it sooner.

I have an anxious little Sheltie that is about rhe same size as the one in the picture. It's really easy to put on her and it really does help her when she is feeling anxious.

We have a dog between medium and large size as provided above. We think she's some kind of mutt of Tennessee treeing brindle, boxer, and who knows what else. We went with Size Large because of how big and round her ribcage is compared to the rest of her body. Her ribcage was size large, but we would've gone Medium otherwise.She leans into any kind of pressure, squeeze, or press so we thought this would work for her.Our dog shakes very intensely during fireworks and thunderstorms. We didn't observe ANY SIGNIFICANT AND CONSISTENT DECREASE in stress when we put this on her. We'd gotten her acclimated to it beforehand by using it as a plate of treats and having her wearing it during preferred activities/environment.Jacket came 100% as advertised physically. Long as you read the instructions, putting it on shouldn't be a hassle. The velcro could be stronger and higher when wrapping along the neck, but that's trivial.TL;DR Great product. I just think our dog has too much baggage/stress for this jacket to handle. We're looking into other ways to help her out.

I really love this thunder shirt specially the color for my Zoe girl... I had ordered a large for her but it was a little snug for her liking. I returned because of her size. I am ordering an XL for her for she is a Red Bone/Dutch Shepard... and has gained a little weight.... I see no issues with moving forward with the XL size. I transitioned her into the Large so she does have the feel for it and is liking it besides the snugness of it. The couple of times that I have put it on her we can see the difference in her. I don't want it to be too tight on her I want her to feel comfortable wearing it. And believe with the XL she will 100% feel more comfortable and so will we. I would highly recommend a thunder shirt for your dogs. This is the second one I have bought. The first one I bought was for my charlie boy. He is a Black Lab/ Cocker Spaniel he is Terrified of thunder and fireworks and loud noises always has been he is 12 years old now. I had bought him a medium thunder shirt love it and so does charlie boy we have all seen the amazing difference in him on storming nights and around the 4th of July my only mistake is not buying him one sooner. He sleeps so much better on nites like these. He would come and lay on me just shaking and he felt he couldn't get close enough and hide under the blankets and shake. Not no more he lays there all stretched out and relaxed like he doesn't have a care in the world.... Love it. Even though I miss him waking me up in the middle of the nite to help comfort him, I wake up finding myself checking on him to make sure he is ok to find him laying either by my feet or on the side of me just stretched out sound asleep and that is a good feeling on stormy nites... Now my Zoe girl is a barker and very antzie... even though we take her to dog classes.... which helps with her bordomness at night is the worse with her barks just to bark and does the scrathing thing on the mattress beds and carpet like she is digging a hole. The few times I had put this thunder shirt on she didn't do this. I took the thunder shirt off to resend back to reorder the XL size and boom here we go again back to barking and scratching like she is digging a hole. Can't wait for the XL thunder shirt to come in, can't come in soon enough... It sure has been a life saver for both of my dogs. Absultly Love them. Shirt anti stress acheté pour notre petite basset griffon vendéen, elle refusait de sortir après s'être pris un ballon sur la tête, c'est la comportementaliste qui nous a recommandé le produit. Elle l'a tout de suite accepté. Seul bémol, les scratchs feutrent les poils près des pattes. Je recommande vivement ce produit.

C'est un petit miracle pour ma petite chienne qui a très peur des gens et de tout bruit inhabituel. Généralement elle se met à aboyer et grogner quand elle voit quelqu'un, même de loin.J'ai d'abord distribué des friandises à ma chienne sur le thundershirt. Elle n'a ensuite pas du tout été réticente pour que je lui mette.Premier essai très concluant, nous avons croisé des gens et elle n'a strictement rien dit, elle semblait juste intriguée et s'approchait même.Deuxième essai elle était contente que je lui mette son manteau !J'avais essayé les fleurs de Bach et ça n'a pas marché.Avec un travail de désensibilisation je suis sûre qu'elle deviendra une petite chienne bien dans ses pattes.Par contre, je n'ai mis que 4 étoiles car un scratch s'est décousu dès la première utilisation et pour le prix je trouve ça moyen.Livraison ultra rapide cependant et ça c'est chouette en période de Noël !

We took in a stray Springer Spaniel, Molly, five years ago. She has been a little crazy since day one: barks at nothing; paces; hides from loud noises like thunderstorms and fireworks; waits at the back door until we return home; follows me EVERYWHERE, literally every step I take. The only thing that calmed her some was our older rescue Sweet Pea. As long as Sweet Pea was calm, Molly's anxiety was reduced. I heard about the thundershirt a while back, but Molly really seemed to be doing better so I put off ordering it because I was not convinced it worked as well as they claim, and I wasn't excited about the price. Unfortunately, Sweet Pea passed away in January, and Molly really seemed to loose her compass. I saw her returning to the spastic dog she was when we first took her into our home. It was hard for me to leave her home alone even to run a quick errand, so I broke down and ordered the Thundershirt. She has loved it from the moment I put it on her. With the shirt on, she rarely barks at small noises, but still knows when to bark at appropriate noises (knocks at the door, strangers in the driveway). If she's napping, I can leave the room without her following me. I left her home alone on Saturday for the first time since Sweet Pea passed, and when I returned home three hours later everything was fine. I thought maybe I was just seeing the results I wanted to see, considering the amount I spent on the shirt, but when I take the shirt off, she returns to some of her previous craziness. If I put the shirt back on, she seems to calm down immediately. It is almost like flipping a switch. She wears the shirt most of the time, and so far no problems with sore spots. I've washed the shirt, and although it does take a long time to air dry, it retained it's shape. My only worry it that when summer gets here, I'll have to take it off every time she goes out because it may be too hot for her. Maybe they could make one with a cooler material? Bottom line: Molly loves her shirt, I love how she behaves when she is wearing it, and it is worth every penny! I'm only sorry that I waited so long to order it!
