This replacement plug and connector set are the best I've ever seen or worked with. For example, loosening three screws on the female end, you don't need to remove them - they are retained within the unit, but when loosened you can then take the plug apart. This keeps things neat and easy when working with it. Also, it is not necessary to make a semicircle with the end of the wires as always had to be done previously. Now, you simply loosen the screws which opens up what is basically a clamp, insert the wire, and then tighten the screw, which secures the wire for a good connection.Note: when taking the female end apart after unscrewing the three screws, pay attention to the orientation of each part to one another. Failure to do so may complicate putting it back together. You may even want to put tick marks on both pieces just to ensure you don't have trouble putting it back together.The price is comparable to what you're likely to pay at a hardware store or elsewhere, and this is something handy to have on hand even if you don't have an immediate use for it. Highly recommended.

Decent 2 pack that works better than other ones that only have a plug. The one big failing that you can see from the photo attached - there is no alignment mark to line up and screw as a result it’s difficult . The trick is to take out the screws completely and then align by looking through and matching the holes and then putting the screw . Inside it it is perfect and you can clearly see how the connections can be tightened without having to look through a big plastic tab !Overall a good buy.

This is an easy fix for broken cord ends. It comes with both ends and works well. It is not UL listed, but it is a copy of every other plug you can buy.

This connector is easy to use. Very easy to take apart and install the wires. It secures all the wire without issues. You can’t go wrong.

I like this set of plugs. I like that the material is the same on each connector and that they match each other (except for the genders, of course). Once I installed these, they just work.I'm using the male connector in my living room and I'm glad that once it's plugged-in to the wall, I don't see that bright yellow. However, I like the yellow because it makes the connector real easy to see in a coil or bin!The only other note I have on appearance is that these look very industrial by the way that the strain relief clamp on the back is bright silver. It's not very pretty. It's not a deal-breaker, but it sure isn't pretty in a home.Appearance aside, the functional installation of these is straightforward. These are pretty standard. The rear housing has to be pushed onto the cable first, before screwing in each conductor to the connector part. The screw terminals just press two flat pieces of metal together to clamp each wire in-place. I was able to firmly grip each wire.I like that the screws are phillips, making it easy to tighten each screw with a screwdriver. I also like that each screw inside the connector is color-coded per normal. Silver is neutral, gold is hot, and green is ground. These are just pretty normal connectors!

I used my instant heat water kettle daily. It started to work intermittently. I discovered that if the cord at the plug wasn't at a certain angle, my kettle wouldn't work. Somehow, I must have broken a wire. I cut off the original plug and stripped the wires for the replacement one. Fixed!!! Issue resolved. The female end will be saved for later use. The wire connects are very secure. The plug and cover can only fit together one way. Highly recommend.
