Your cart is empty.The Black Pro-Mist offers all the benefits of the Pro-Mist filter in a more subtle form. With this filter, highlight flares are controlled, contrast is lowered, but with less lightening of shadows for a more delicate effect and it also creates a soft light "pastel" effect. This is a very delicate effect with contained highlight flare. This Hollywood/FX filters was originally designed for the TV and Motion Picture industry, but are now available to all photographers and videographers.

I bought the highest diffusion piece, which perhaps was a bit too much. However it does lend to an Extremely dreamy and filtered photo on the x100v, all of the attached photos which came directly off the camera with no editing on my part.I would highly recommend this product, but perhaps go a bit lower on the diffusion unless you want your photos being as blown out as mine!

Cómo productor audiovisual no es un filtro que ocupes siempre, solo en ocasiones específicas lo compre únicamente por experimentar pero la verdad no recomiendo invertir como filtros de primera línea no los usarás siempre

I was wavering between buying a dedicated Mist filter, or combining it with a VND filter and I am glad I didn't . Aside from the fact that as a standalone it is less expensive, I find that I don't always need a VND when I need a Mist, and vice versa. When I do, They stack nicely. I am sure that there is some extra light loss during the process, but I can usually compensate. This is a nice part of my toolkit.

This is probably the filter you want to give stars a glow whilst retaining sharpness, which helps to accentuate colours. I haven't tried it with portrait photography yet but the effect looks good through the viewfinder and on the camera's LCD. Should be part of most photographers essential kit alongside other bargain alternatives to conventional solutions such as Raynox macro attachments, NiSi 10 stop neutral density filter, Marumi Redhancer, Hoya circular polarizing and UV HRT filter and Top! 950nM infrared filter, Massa 850nm infrared filter (sent instead of "Top!") and Top! 720nm infrared filter. I use Nikkor lenses on a Nikon D800E.

I got this filter for quick use and it's great but there's one thing that's not so convenient about all rounded grad. ND filters, you cannot control the dimmed space in the image as much as you can with a flat grad. ND. All in all it's good and of decent quality.
