Your cart is empty.The Warm Black Pro-Mist offers all the benefits of the Pro-Mist filter in a more subtle form. With this filter, highlight flares are controlled, contrast is lowered, but with less lightening of shadows for a more delicate effect and it also creates a soft light "pastel" effect. This is a very delicate effect with contained highlight flare. A slight warming is achieved with the addition of Tiffen's exclusive 812 filter for perfect skin tones or warming effects. This Hollywood/FX filters was originally designed for the TV and Motion Picture industry, but are now available to all photographers and videographers.

Filter works well. Gives you the halation plus a little warming effect. Great for shooting people. Giving it 4 stars because Tiffen filters are soooooooooo over priced.

This is a good filter but:A) I feel the mist effect is too subtleB) that’s being said, there is a weird ?amararanth dominant and intriguing but not nice vignettingC) the box is a mistake. It’s really easy to open and the filter is not protected at all.Maybe it will be an amazing product for someone more sophisticated and with a different artistic taste/needs but I have returned my item.

Great filter, but too expensive for what it is.There is no coating so it reflects the light back to the sensor. If Tiffen solves it, I’d give it five stars.
