This is almost more a leather sewing kit.It's very heavy duty!Suitable for Canvass, heavy duty upholstery and leather.It's solid and a great value.

Small kit with a wide variety of what you need,I just got them to repair a slipper I really like so watched some videos on how to do the stitches and can report that it's been months and the slippers are still in tacked with no sign of wearing from the threads.I want to try stitching leather next as a new hobby use on furniture so will see how that goes.Definitely worth trying

Good application. Extensive kit has everything. I repaired four truck seats with this. I did need a needle nose plier to pull through the commercial grade vinyl, but it worked. It just takes time. The thread is strong and waxed so it lasts. It also has an awl with a threaded face for poking through straight on. Very helpful tool.

The thread is too thin for leather shoe repairs, for example on boat shoes. The tool handle does not hold the sewing awls. Became unusable after two insertions. The hook awl is too sharp and cuts the thread when pulling. The kit might be useful for very light duty work definitely to worth it for trying to restitch soles to leather. Probably most useful for simple leather on leather repairs.
