Every detail on these gloves is top notch. Aside from the top quality of material used and craftsmanship in constructing them lending durability, hides a hidden gem.My favorite thing about the Tillman Black Elskins is the hand pattern used in comfluence with the clean and tight hemming around the finger tips. I'm sure if you have spent some time welding, you would agree that some gloves are bulky and hinder dexterity. This is usually because the excess material is not trimmed and cleaned on the outside of the hem.If you were to turn the glove inside out, the amount of material after the stitching between the top and bottom around the fingers is what kills the dexterity. These gloves don't have that so I can feel what I am doing and they are comfortable as heck - I almost wear them any chance I get.

I have been using these for about 4 months now while attending welding school. I have welded stick, mig, and tig with them. These are amazing hybrid gloves that can work for any form of welding you need. I feel like they work best with mig though. The only complaint I have about stick is that you have to be careful with any splatter while doing overhead. The gloves have great heat resistance but when the heat gets through it gets all the way through. I love them for tig too as the comfort allows you to feel everything even when handling smaller 3/32 rods. With that said their are more comfortable tig specific gloves out there. Overall I find them to be the best mig gloves I have used. While their are better tig and stick gloves they tend to be job specific gloves that only work with one form of welding. As an across the board pair these would have to be number one.

So far they’re my favorite. I been through a bit of gloves in my short welding career. I don’t like bulky over sized gloves. And these fit perfect. I stick weld 90% of the time. Rarely do I get to mig or tig due to working on ship decks. So I’ve used them for 9 hours straight so far as it’s longs day. And feels much better then my Miller gloves. The leather feels much softer. As for how long will they last. That I’m not sure. I hope a long time. But can’t tell yet.

These lasted about 6 weeks for my son in welding and already had to duct tape one hand and his hand got burnt on the other hand the next day. For this price definitely it worth it and it’s listed at #106 so I am going with #1 for best welding gloves which are half the price and have way more reviews.

BEST BY FAR!WORTH EVERY PENNY!I have used several brands of gloves in search of the “best”, and my search is over!High dexterityExtreme heat resistanceGreat fitProper length (not too high, not too low).Very softNot too thick (but provides proper protection)Can’t fell the seams on the insideInternal lining stays putGreat durability (welding, not grinding, or material handling). My recommendation is to use a cheaper pair of gloves (good quality off course) to handle material, grinding, etc.Once I set my work then I throw these on.Weird to think about it but I actually look forward to putting these gloves on every time :)

They're decent gloves and feel amazing on the hands but they're horrible if you weld alot. I do stick, mig, and oxey fuel cut at work and these things are decent for a little while. The left glove is hard on the Pinky and ring finger from too much heat. If you do a little bit of welding here and there these are good for you.

These are the best gloves you can buy, hands down! I weld 8-11 hours a day, needless to say I do a lot of welding. Mostly flux-cored innershield and stick in all positions but a lot of vertical. Most gloves I bought wouldn't last a week, some would only last a day! I've used tons of other types of welding gloves and these are by far the best. These gloves last me 2 months welding all day everyday in the field too, not in a shop. It's unreal how heat resistant they are, for how thin they are, compared to other gloves. I used to get huge burn blisters on my knuckles from other gloves, if I didn't want to stop my weld and have a restart. With these gloves it never happens! Yes they are more expensive but you get what you pay for. 1 pair of these is like 4 pairs of the blue Tillman gloves. These are top quality. I'll never use any other glove again. If you work outside in the winter like I do, wear tight small gloves under these to keep your hands warm. Trust me you will not regret buying these, the great dexterity alone will make you a better welder. Any experienced welder will tell you that the most important thing is to be comfortable while welding. So any way to make you more comfortable will make you a better welder.
