Update: A hole appeared in the palm after 8 months of use. These are cheaply made and don’t hold up for regular use.I bought these for BBQ and handling hot cast iron. Not great for this purpose. The fingers and hand are less padded on the inside of your hand. The heat goes right through. You need to work fast! 3 stars since the gloves seem to be good quality and this is more of a non-primary purpose I’m using them for.

I don't use these for welding, but I do have to put hot glass into a kiln that's 950 F. They work fine, and a great price. They also look beautiful in cobalt blue suede.

Seem like a well-made glove but are on the smaller side. I usually wear a XXL glove but most welding gloves fit me about right maybe a little snug but that gives me better dexterity for working with odd, shaped metal. The fingers on these Gloves are 3/4 of an inch too short for me, I can get them on with a little bit of work but the base of the fingers is closer to my second knuckle then my hand so I bottom out at my finger tips.

We have a woodstove to heat the house, I was using leather gkovesuntil I had to push a burning log that was falling out of the stove. I didn’t get burned but I did realize that I needed better gloves. When I saw these I figured that had to be better, and they are better. Way better I can grab burning wood without fear, I don’t do anything stupid but j have grabbed a piece of burning wood to throw it back into the fire. Nothing has made my hand feel hot so far. These are the best I have ever used, I gave 4 stars because they aren’t the most comfortable but that is because of the insulation that they need. So maybe they should get five stars.
