This is an ideal electronically controlled pump suitable for car tyres. It arrived almost fully charged, but I did then top up as instructed. In use, it is very easy to set the desired pressure and it then goes on to take up to the set pressure (if your tyre is over inflated, you need to manually reduce the pressure). It seems to be pretty accurate as the readings tie up eith a larger Makita pump that I have. When removing from the tyre, only minimal air is lost, so the pressure should remain as set.It also comes with a cigarette lighter lead which can be used if you find that it has become discharged and you still need to pump up your tyre. The lead is easily long enough to reach all corners of my car. Note that the USB charging lead us exactly that, charging, but not running. You do need to provide your own USB charger (standard USB outlet) as one is not provided in this kit.Overall, I'm very impressed and this small unit fits nicely in the glove box.

My wife and I have two cars, but up to now we've only had one inflator. That's changed now thanks to this Woowind Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor. The Woowind is similar to the one we already had in that they are both battery powered cordless models, they both have a built-in flashlight that comes in handy if the inflator needs to be used at night in a poorly lit location, they both allow the desired tire pressure to be pre-set and automatically stop when that pre-set pressure has been reached, and a few other common features. The Woowind has a few advantages over my prior model, including the fact that it is a lot more compact, yet has comparable performance characteristics, it seems better made with a rugged strong aluminum case (my prior one was made of plastic), and in a pinch if the battery in the inflator becomes depleted pumping can continue by powering it from the vehicle's 12V accessories socket. Another observation is that I think the Woowind may actually pump a little bit faster than my old inflator too. Speed is important, especially when all four tires need to be inflated or topped off.The specs in the product ad state that this inflator can bring a 225/45 R18 tire from 29 to 36 PSI in only a minute. Our vehicles use 245/50 R19 and 265/45 R21 tires, both of which accommodate a higher volume of air, so I would expect it to take longer to inflate than the tires mentioned in the ad (the rear tires on one of the vehicles is spec'd to be inflated to 42 PSI, so that would add to the time to inflate also). In a quick test I inflated the rear tires on one of the vehicles, which were only 1.5 PSI short of being fully inflated. It took each of those tires 34 seconds to reach the full pressure with this inflator. I don't think that's too bad.The inflator has presets for inflating car, motorcycle, scooter, and bicycle tires, along with sports balls; plus any desired pressure can be manually preset from 2 to 150 PSI. Once the pressure has been preset a single push of the button starts the inflation process, and automatically stops when the set pressure has been reached (it can also be stopped manually at any time by pressing the power button). To be honest, I don't understand why the 5 included presets would even be relevant. After all, one vehicle may need 32 PSI per tire, while others might need 42 PSI. Seems to make more sense to me to just set the pressure with the + and - buttons. There is a small LED light on top of the inflators body which I would say provides an adequate amount of light. It's not a retina-burner, but enough to be able to see what you're doing if you need to inflate a tire at night in an unlit or dimly lit location. Besides a steady light, the LED can also be switched to flash quickly on and off, as well as to flash SOS. Included in the box with the inflator is a soft drawstring pouch for carrying all the components, a detachable air hose, a cable for connecting the inflator to the vehicle's 12V accessory socket, and little baggie containing adapters including a needle for inflating balls, a plastic adapter for inflating air rafts and such, and a couple of valve adapters (Schrader to Presta and Schrader to Dunlop).Overall, I really like this inflator a lot. It's very well-made and is quite capable. The feel of it in the hand really conveys a sense of very high quality. Nevertheless, In my opinion it would be really great if the kit included a hard or semi-hard zippered case instead of the drawstring pouch to better protect the inflator and keep the accessories from getting lost. I would be willing to pay a couple of bucks extra for that! Also, the inflation tube has a screw-on connection to attach it to the tires' valves. I would prefer a quality clamp-on valve connector as it is much quicker and easier to operate, and loses less air while disconnecting vs. the screw-on type. These "would rather have" musings are not deal-breakers at all in my opinion. Maybe just suggestions for version 2.0?

I've owned a few of these types of inflators now, and I've given some away as gifts. They're convenient. They generally work the same, where you input the desired pressure, connect the hose to the tire stem, and press start. It will inflate the tire to the set pressure and then automatically shut off. The thing that separates them is how much sound they make, how quickly they can inflate the tire, and the battery life. I found all of those to be in the acceptable range with this inflator. This is the slimmest model I've used, yet it still seemed to work as quickly as any other, and the battery seems to last as long.Keep in mind that these aren't made to replace a compressor simply because of the amount of volume they can put out. So if you have a really big tire or ones that's completely flat, this might not do the trick, or at least do it efficiently. They really shine when the seasons change and you get that TPMS light on your dash. That probably means one or more tires is down at least 5psi and you can quickly setup this inflator to bring it back up to the correct pressure. It only takes a couple minutes per tire on a standard car or SUV tire to bring it up those 5 points. You can go around to every tire and get them all set just right in under ten minutes and on a single charge. If you found that you left the battery dead, this comes with the option and the cord to plug into your auto's power point (which were called cigarette lighters in my day). Lastly, if you are working with it at night, it comes with an LED flashlight to light up the work area. (It's not terribly bright, but it's fine for illuminating the area that you'll need to attach this to your tire.)Keeping the tires inflated properly can not only improve gas mileage, but also promote even tire wear. This device makes it quick and easy, and comes in a compact package. It also has the ability to inflate things such as soccer balls and basketballs, which it does very quickly. It can blow up air mattresses, but that type of volume isn't really what these are best suited to inflate. If I had to give it a ding, it's that it's on the expensive side. While it does perform as expected and it does so in a good looking, compact package, it is near the top of the price range.

Compact and effective tyre pump, a really premium item, with a solid feel to itComes with two power options, either the USB C charged battery, or the 12v lighter socket lead. Both are effective, the battery obviously the most convenient to use without trailing wires, though the 12v lead is long enough to reach the wheels in most vehicles. Note the 12v lead does not charge the battery. The hose is quite short, fitted with a Schrader valve, I use it with a screw in in extension piece that has a quick release valve, making it easier to use and giving more reach when in use.It has five pre-sets – car / motorcycle / bicycle / custom & ball mode, the pressure is easy to adjust, with the display showing the target and actual pressures. All easy and effective in use.Solid and effective bit of kit, I did notice the list price fluctuated between £80 - £127 in the time have had it, at either end of this range still a high cost, even for a premium item, which this is.

I’ve been through a few of these and my biggest issue is because I have a half ton I kill the batteries in them fast or it takes 10 years to fill a tire normally I’d complain that it has a screw on valve or that it doesn’t work as a portable battery pack and it doesn’t have integrated storage however it’s got a lot more power than expected and it came with a 12v cigarette lighter adapter that allows you to run it bypassing the batteries and the charging circuit completely it makes up for the not being able to charge my phone from it and I’ve only had one of 3 of these tore orimps that has the locking valve and only one out of three that has built in storage two out of three offered device charging but if I can use it on a dead battery plugged in my car or BLUETTI and it’s got a little bag full of parts and pieces for different jobs like basket balls and other things and a little drawstring bag to store it I’m not gonna complain about it at all!

I'm starting to lose count of the number of portable air compressors that I own, or have temporarily owned, but this is my new favourite. A fantastic amount of power from a small unit. When it arrives, the manual suggests you charge it, which is easy enough to do with any USB-C phone or laptop charger. Then you give a long-press of the power button to wake it up and it's ready to go.There is a single large button with four "directional" buttons off the "GO!" centre; units (PSI vs other weird non-PSI alternatives), increase target, decrease target and odd "bike/car/other" selector. While we're on the very slight negatives; I really can't tell what that "other" button does and I would say that it is very easy to think you're pressing on button while you're actually hitting another. There's a lot of space so no need for all the buttons to be so close together. But(!) these are minor niggles! In use, you screw the hose in (far more reassuring than pressure-fittings), read the pressure, adjust the target and press the big "GO!" button. It quickly brings the tyre up to pressure and immediately cuts off.Taking a tyre from 33PSI to 37PSI took around 45 seconds, and I was able to do all four tyres on my big car and all four tyres on the smaller car, and the battery went from green to amber. The whole process for both cars took five minutes.Given how compact this unit is, I was astounded at the performance and would highly recommend it. At an advertised price of around £80 at the time of review it's not cheap, but it's all the inflator you'll need!

The pump arrived just two days after I ordered it. I was really impressed by how compact it is, and when I used it, it worked super intuitively and like a charm! It’s incredibly handy for anyone into sports like cycling or ball games (soccer, basketball, volleyball). I seriously loved it: fast, smooth, and super easy to use! Totally recommend it!
