The quality and sound of this guitar is outstanding, frets are smooth, wood is very nicely finished and very smooth, paint is great! Im looking forward to many hours of playing enjoyment! They even sent me a hand written thank you note welcoming me to the family! Im 67 years old and hands have been beat up due to years of construction work, this short scale guitar is easier to play and very fun! Thank you CNZ audio for a great guitar at an outstanding price!

This is hands-down the nice-est budget guitar I have purchased! First, the packaging was outstanding - double boxed plus foam wrapped inside plus a paper around the strings, obvious care. On to the guitar itself: really nice fret ends, which is often a 'sore spot' on inexpensive guitars. The finish is beautiful the paint is immaculate and the neck is a really nice golden color. The action is set right out of the box and the intonation seems to be adjusted as well! The nut also seems to be set correctly with the string depths correct and the top of the nut biled so that part of the string is exposed at the top just like it should be. It sounds great plugged in, and I will soon include a video of me playing it so you can hear what it sounds like!Lastly my order included a handwritten note with the guitar which indicates to me that a person who cares about the instrument packed my order. Color me impressed I will be buying more instruments from CNZ.Highly recommended!! - UMF🦄🧜♀️🌭🍺

It’s almost impossible to find a good solid mini guitar these days with the comfortable 22” scale length and standard size nut width (42mm). Search no longer! I had been searching everywhere for a Telecaster style guitar that has the short scale length or normal size width to the neck. Fender does not offer the Telecaster, plus the ones that they do have, have a smaller nut width and are treated kinda of like a children’s guitar. The CNZ mini tele has the solid basswood body, which has some warmth and it is light. It is only 1.25” thick, opposed to 1.75” of a standard telecaster. Also, it is very important to remember if you’re going to play a mini short scale guitar, in order for it to intonate and sound in tune, you either need to play with a very light touch, or put on heavier strings, 11’s or maybe even 12’s. And just like all guitars it should have a professional setup, make sure the nut slots are slotted correctly for the heavier strings! It’s lighter than the standard about (5.8 lbs). Some people feel that the standard size teles can feel like boat anchors. Contrary to what people might think heavier doesn’t always correlate to better sound or mor sustain. And, at first I was kinda disappointed, but as I played it I realized the neck was super comfortable and most importantly it sounded good. You don’t have to throw your shoulder out picking it up. It has all the traditional vintage appointments, 3 barrel bridge saddles, ashtray style plate. Plus, if you have good woodworking skills and the tools, you can easily fashion the headstock into a traditional style tele shape. They make that easy to do, just round off the nub they leave at the end of the headstock. I think if more people catch on to this, there could be a niche following for this guitar. There is definitely a underutilized market for good solid standard size neck width mini guitars!

This is a fun little guitar. It came out of the box with just a little set-up required. Annotation had to be fixed and action, but with most guitars that are to be expected.PROS: It's a nice little guitar for smaller players/beginners. I've been playing guitar for 5+ years and got this as a fun travel/beat-up/experimental guitar. In any case, it checked all boxes for any of the needs listed above. It's a lot of fun to play - It has a nice neck profile that fills the hand and the action is good. The pickups are acceptable for the type of guitar that it is. You can rock out on this thing and it is great for any type of genre.CONS: The biggest issue that I found is the tuning heads. I do have to tune the guitar every once in a while. It will stay in tune while playing a song, but after playing and picking it up later, it needs to be re-tuned. Putting a capo on will throw it totally off and needs to be tuned.NOTE: I have not changed the strings, which can always be a reason for the guitar slipping out of tune, but I am convinced that it is most likely the tuning heads. (but maybe it could just be the specific guitar that I received.OVERALL: Nice fun guitar for the price and it's a lot of fun to fool around with no worries about banging it or taking it out somewhere. I do highly recommend it if you have you require a 3/4 size guitar, for fun, or to mess around and experiment with.If I could I"d give it 4.5 stars - ENJOY!

I wanted a short scale guitar because I do not have long fingers and I play telecasters, mainly. After reading so many positive views, I ordered one.I have a 90s MIJ Flower Tele, so I got the CNZ Flower finish. So now it's big brother & little sister! This plays great and the pickups don't sound bad. I have no trouble with it maintaining tuning, after the strings were stretched enough. Intonation is as decent as non-compensated can be.The 46-10s are a bit light, especially if you play hard, but not if you can control you're picking (if you want to). I have it in standard tuning. no problem. This guitar is a keeper. Plays as fast ore slow as I want, sounds good, looks cool and not run-of-the mill. I'll be using this at home and on stage. Great, solid short scalr guitar.
