I have this on my gates, it’s inside a box out in the sun but the heat seems not to affect it. Happy with this purchase.

It seems to be a good device however, the time activates 30 minutes later than the set time.

We bought this to run our light in a movable range fed chicken coop. Powered with a cordless tool battery and a 12v adapter that were purchased locally. Works great. The timer’s internal battery keeps it on time during battery change outs. I spent a little more just to obtain a timer I didn’t need to go to university to learn to program.

I rent out digital signs for events and some dont have an internal clock/calendar. Sometimes I cant get up early enough to turn them on for the day or it may result in a wasteful commute to turn them on, and if its not needed after a certain time, I want to turn it off to save the 12v battery. This worked perfectly to solve that problem.
