A well made unit and easy to install with the back wired slots for the wires. The 12 hour timer was needed for the remote ventilator fan when no one was on duty to control it. It has been reliable and counts down from the set time for controlled shut off.

I have a mobility scooter with a new on board battery charger. Instructions say remove power to charger when batteries are charged up. Well If I plug it in will I remember to unplug it. With the timer I can choose how long I want the charger on up to 12 hours and it automatically turns off. Protecting my new on board charger that I also bought from Amazon.

I am using this in a DC power application (as a battery charger safety cutoff). It is working very well, I can set it for 12 hours which gives the battery lots of time to charge and if the charger doesn't kick-off properly on it's own, then this time will interrupt the circuit with it's manual switch. I really like that it is truly just a mechanical switch with a mechanical clock mechanism. No motors, coils or other powered stuff inside this switch.

Instead of it timing down it will just stop. If help it, it may or may not finish timing down. So it doesn't turn off most of the time.
