This is an excellent lightweight light board that makes tracing and drawing a joy. It comes with a USB lead not a plug but that worked in its favour for me. I used the side socket of my MAC (and a short USB to USC cable adaptor) to power up the light board - and stood it for extra firmness on top of my laptop whilst I worked on my drawing project on my lap. You could of course just as easily set it on an office desk or a table at home.The Toheto white board will fully illuminate A4 sized paper and its front service is magnetic. This means that you can use the with four handy magnets that come with it to secure your designs and papers as you work. I liked the choice of both colour brightness and shade - as well as the obvious white you could also opt for your Light box to show in grey or warm colour tones. The warm one as you'd expect was most easy on the eye.I do all of my creative work at home - but even so I appreciated just how lightweight this was when I chose to use it in different places in the home.The control buttons on the side are simple to use - a quick press and it's on, then simply select brightness and colour hue. Final plus point: the edges are marked like rulers - two sides metric, two imperial. In short, this is a great piece of kit and on offer at a very good value price.

This is my second light box, and the best one yet. My first is a different brand. What I have, and like about this one, which my other doesn't offer is the different colored dims on the light. There is the classic warm light, then a mild blue toned light and lastly an orange light. All the light colors have excellent uses depending on what you're needing to trace. The lights are not only different colors but those colors can be made brighter or dimmed more. A very handy feature.The magnet rounds are an excellent feature and they are magnetized very strong to hold the project. The light box its self is very strong and the construction of it is strong and sturdy.The light box does need to be plugged while using. That doesn't bother me at all. I'm making it aware to those who might wonder if it's chargeable.For the price of this light box it is very well worth it and the uses are many.

This light pad is exactly as described and is very bright on the highest setting. It has 3 color settings and 6 brightness settings on each color. The side buttons are easy to work. It uses a C charging cable for power, so it can be plugged into a charging plug or to my computer. It is lightweight and easy to move around and can easily be used in portrait or landscape position.The magnets for holding the paper to the light pad are quite strong, so you could easily place an image under tracing paper and hold them both securely in place with the magnets.I appreciate that the sellers put a note about it being a wired and not a battery item right at the top of the description.

I'm a calligrapher and I like to draft on lined paper for centering purposes. I also hate drawing guidelines that I have to erase later. My old light board was not bright enough to show through thick paper, which is often necessary. This one is very bright. I haven't found any paper that I couldn't see through. It's a game-changer!

My mother recently discovered diamond painting, and it’s quickly become one of her favorite hobbies. She finds it relaxing and rewarding—but there was just one problem: the lighting in her apartment wasn’t great for this kind of detailed work. She was struggling to see the tiny symbols on the canvas, which was starting to take away from her enjoyment.That’s when I came across this backlit tablet and thought it might help. I decided to order it for her, and I’m so glad I did.The tablet arrived securely packaged in a sturdy box, and right away, we could tell it was well made. Its size is perfect for A4 projects (12.5 x 8.6 inches), which covers most standard diamond painting canvases. If your canvas is larger, you can still make great use of it by moving the tablet underneath the section you're currently working on.One of the features we really like is the adjustable lighting. There are six brightness levels, which makes it easy to find the right amount of light depending on the time of day or how detailed the work is. It also lets you switch between three color temperatures: a cool white with a blue tint, a neutral white, and a warm white that’s softer on the eyes—especially helpful during evening sessions.To keep the canvas steady, the tablet comes with four magnets that hold it securely in place. It’s a simple touch, but very practical and appreciated.A couple of things to keep in mind: the tablet doesn’t include a power adapter, so you’ll need to have your own or use a USB power source. Also, the USB cable included in the box is on the shorter side, so depending on your setup, you might need a longer one.All in all, for $30 CAD, this backlit tablet is a great deal. It’s made a noticeable difference in how easily and comfortably my mom can enjoy her new hobby. As for how well it will hold up over time, we’ll have to wait and see—but so far, it’s been fantastic.My mother is really happy with this gift. I've used another light board in the past and this one was much better. With the different light colour options and the various brightness levels, this offers a lot of adaptability for various projects. It's lightweight and large enough that most of my diamond art pieces should fit on it easily. The light really helps highlight those tiny numbers and letters so my older eyes can see them without additional strain. The magnets are quite strong, although I wish there were a few more to help hold down the corners AND the plastic sheet as I peel it back in sections. The board itself doesn't get sticky or hot so you can rest your wrist and arm on it, if necessary. The included USB cord is about 6' long so it has the length to make it to a nearby plug (you need to provide the adapter). Overall, this is a great light board that you can customize to your lighting needs.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Exceeds expectations⭐⭐⭐⭐ = As described⭐⭐⭐ = A flaw or two⭐⭐ = Serious drawbacks⭐ = No, thank you

Got this lightboard for sketching and tracing but my daughter has been using it for fun with her school art work.It is easy to set up. Plugs in and turn it on.It has 3 different light mode and then a separate button for the brightness.I will say, put your work on the board before turning it on, the brightest intensity is extremely bright.This is very light weight and comes with 4 magnet pieces to hold your work to the board.This seems very durable and very happy with it

I have used one of the old model of light boxes for years. The large thick metal sidedones with the regular bulbs.This is thin and lightweight.It not only adjust for brightness like the old boxes did it also has three color temperature settings. And the brightness setting get very bright at its highest setting and very dim at its lowest which is exactly what you want.The surface is magnetic and it comes with four magnets to help hold media to the face the box.I am a little concerned that the plastic they used is not as hard as it could be. It already has a few visible scratches on it right out of the box. Only time will tell if this becomes a significant issue. If it does I will try to remember to update this review.

I was very pleased with the quality and packaging of this lightboard when I ordered it. Here are some observations along with photos which I think would be helpful:-The light board arrived packaged neatly in a sturdy box that I think will be durable enough to store it when not in use.- The magnets are very strong and will hold 2 layers of paper. The magnet sticks to the white part of the board but not on border, which is to be expected.- I like having the 3 different "temperature" lights that will give me options when using different types of papers to find the one the one that allows the bottom layer to be illuminated through the top sheet. I found this to be brighter than the other 2 light boards I've gotten in the past.- The light board is a bit thicker than ones I've gotten in the past, which is a plus and helps the USB-C connection stay tight and not "loosen" up. Time will tell though.- As an artist, I plan to use this lots! This would have many uses, such as being used as an additional light source, for photography, tattoo tracing, etc.

This isn't my first light board. But it is the brightest one I've had.The light changing in steps, with the push of a button is really nice. You can decide which setting is best for you and you can easily make sure you have the right setting all the time.For my needs, I do not need the various types of light but to illustrate the differences, I'm posting pictures of each type of light on the lowest and highest settings.It comes with 4 small magnets to hold your paper in place. The magnets have a nice, strong hold to them.It will make it much nicer if you're tracing things and moving your hands on and off the paper quite a bit.You won't be sorry if you get this board. It has it all!About the only thing that could make it better would be if it had a battery so you could use it without being chained to a wall socket.MADE IN CHINA.

I buy multiple portable light tablets on Amazon so I can teach art remotely in libraries and schools. Whether they cost $20 or $50 all the ones I bought on Amazon 6 months ago had a battery and could be charged and taken to various locations. That is no longer the case. Recently I have found that all the light tables cannot be charged or have to be tethered with a very short cord to a device...and no included adapter.This light table is exceptional right now because it is portable, and actually is rechargeable in the true sense...it has a battery. There is a red light on the unit that turns blue when it is charged and the charge holds. The seller is also very trustworthy...when I complained about units that have no battery anymore he made sure I had one that would be truly rechargeable and would truly be useful remotely. I appreciate a good product and good customer support like that.
