Bought this for my elderly mother and father. The quality is great. My parents love the comfort, functionality, and weight resistant. The price value is reasonable. Highly recommend.

I don't know if I'm the only one who had trouble putting this raised toilet seat together, but I'm shocked if I am. I read other reviews and many said how simple it was and they didn't need instruction. I feel the exact opposite, I needed better and more detailed instructions. I'll start by saying I'm not handy, that is very true. The instructions were pretty nonexistent, basically a picture of what it looks like when it's all put together and you need to figure it out for yourself. I also was short one screw. I only had 7 in my pack, and you need 8. The first time I tried to put it together I had a headache and I only lasted a few minutes before I threw it in the corner. I tried again today, without a headache and I did it! It took me about 20 minutes and I had to redo a few things but I did it. It seems secure even though it is missing a screw.I am happy with the actual seat now that its put together, just not happy with the instructions. I went online to find a video of someone putting it together but there wasn't one to watch.

We are very pleased with this "lift" toilet seat. Husband, who has limited mobility and hip and joint problems, can sit down and get up comfortably. Seat is very open so that one can both defecate and urinate comfortably. It's set up for him, so my feet don't touch the floor when I have to use it, but I don't mind. The handles are also set up in a way that you can wipe yourself properly without banging elbows. Plus, it just slips in and out, so if you're not handicapped you can just move it away and use the toilet as normal.Husband is 305 pounds so it does support heavy weight without creaking.

3 1/2 stars rounded up to 4. There aren’t any written instructions for this seat. I figured out how to put it together by looking at the pieces and an image of the completed chair. I thought the hardware was missing at first, but the 8 bolts (no extras) and an Allen key are wrapped in clingwrap around one of the pieces. No additional tools are needed. The seat and hand grips are hard plastic. Other chairs at this price point (around $75 to $79) have soft, cushy seats and grips that I found to be much more comfortable. The width isn’t adjustable. This chair has the highest weight limit of the three we have, but the width is on the narrow side: I measured 21 ½” from inside one grip to the other. (Our other unadjustable one is 23” and our adjustable one goes to 21” at its narrowest). There are 6 height adjustment levels. I measured the minimum height to be 20 ½” and the maximum height to be 24”.This chair comes with one set of suction cup feet versus others that have two (one suction and one not). Our two other chairs have come with a storage pouch that hangs from a side. The support bar towards the bottom front hits our toilet stool so we would have to lower the stool from our preferred height or remove it when this seat is in place. This seat works and does have additional support bars, but there are more comfortable options unless you need or want the hard plastic for some reason. Made in China.

My mom used this while recovering from knee surgery and it helped her immensely. It wasn’t very difficult to assemble and is really sturdy. My mom is a small lady, but it seems like it would also accommodate larger statured people. This is a great seat for anyone with mobility issues.
