At around $40, this tool harness isn't a bad buy. There's quite a lot of room for tools and other odds and ends, and it fits fairly well without too much adjustment hassle. The downside is that the pockets aren't as adjustable as I'd like. Because of where the shoulder straps attach, both back and front, there's not a lot of room left on the belt to move the pockets around. This isn't to say the belt isn't useful. I think for the weekend warrior or do-it-yourselfer, this belt will be quite helpful in getting work done. For a professional tradesman? I think there are more flexible, and probably more expensive, alternatives that would suit that person better.Still a decent harness at a decent price for most of us, though.

I am an older home handyman, not a young professional. I tell you that because of why I picked this product. When you're a bit bigger around the middle, regular tool belts don't work. I don't have the correct waist to hip ratio to keep a bag loaded with tools belt around my waist with tightening it so much it would cut off the circulation to my legs! I knew that I wanted a tool belt with suspenders, but to get one at the big box hardware stores, they are very expensive. Even if you get the cheap ones, they are more expensive than this one. So that's why I hadn't gotten one until now. This belt is happily adjustable for someone my size (XXXL) without a problem, and the weight of tools is better hanging from my shoulders that my waist. The listing says it's 600D polyester. I don't know if that's the same as the “Cordura Nylon” that you see in other items, but I think that it will last me probably for the rest of my life. I'm not sure if a professional who used it every working day would get it to last. I haven't had it long enough to poke any holes in any of the pockets, and even if I did there are plenty more pockets to go through before I run out. The belt can be worn with the bags hanging in front of you or behind you. The versatility is nice.I am happy with the belt, and I think that for the money you can't go wrong.

The best thing about this tool belt is its suspender harness, allowing you to keep the weight off of your hips, I’ll tell you what. There are a lot of pockets, although I feel they are a tad shallow so things may fall out inadvertently if you’re on your hands and knees. As far as the location of the two pouches, you can either have them located further up front by attaching the suspenders with the front clips attached to the D-rings adjacent to the hammer slot/holder, or reverse the suspender clips and then the hammer will hang behind you and the two pouches more towards your back half. If I were to carry a hammer, I don’t think I’d like it dangling in the front so I’d orient the belt with it in the back. However, doing that, it made it a bit harder to see some of the tools so I had to access more by feel. The big pockets are also shallow so items sometimes want to fall out when I’m crawling around in the attic unless I pack in a couple items so they’re not too loose. A velcro flap or something like that would have been nice. Still, I like that it’s very lightweight yet it feels like it won’t fall apart any time soon, and the suspenders really do their job distributing the weight. The waist belt seems like it would accommodate a very large waist. Mine is only 32” and after I snap the closure, there’s a lot of spare belt dangling about that I have to sort of wrap around and tuck in.Oh, and for the record, the two pouch sides are not the same as some have complained about. One side has small pockets that are closed at the bottom, but there are two rows of pockets, while the small pockets of the other pouch are open, but there’s only a single row.
