Did not power upon first unit purchased, returned and had a replacement unit order. when arrived we plugged it in and powered up. This was a Christmas gift for Grandson, and since it just came and we checked to see if it had power, he took it with him so don't know how it's worked out for him. Since he has not said anything, will think it doing OK.
