Worked great while it worked. The shroud for the USB C connector is glued in place and that quickly separated.The USB C connector itself must be fragile because it stopped working after 6 months of use at my work desk.Honestly pretty disappointed and will be looking for a more robust product in the future.Sound seemed fine, it did create a small amount of heat that was nice when my hands were cold though. Very easy to use. Not durable at all.

The Hidizs S3 Pro Hi-Res DAC Dongle far exceeded my expectations! I also have their IEMs I ordered which will arrive today. Even though I have a custom molded set of IEMs that were $2k+, Somebody told me the Hidizs were good and cheap. I am a musician and have a recording studio with more gear than I can even mention. I have headphones of all types, open back, closed back, reference, and mastering. I also have high end DACs as well to insure music represents properly. When I saw this DAC on Amazon as a recommendation for the IEMs as an accessory, I figured I would grab them to allow a quick connection to my iPhone Pro Max. At the $49 current price, I was not expecting too much, but saw other reviews saying they worked well. Let me tell you, I plugged this into the iPhone and it immediately showed up and I specified I was plugging in headphones from the prompt. I put on some studio cans and I was blown away at how well this DAC works! I then plugged it into a M1 MacBook Air and again, plug and play. These sound insanely excellent! BUY THEM!

The sound quality was good while it worked. After an year of usage it stopped working, tried with multiple earphones and headphones and get no sound output. My average usage was just about an hour on 3-4 days a week.

Small, portable good audio dac.Then all of a sudden there is this hiss sound in the left headphone after that the device was not usable.Worked for 3 or 4 weeks I think and then it was game over.......I didn't bother to send it back......Ordered 2 more and we will see how they will turn out......I will write another review sometime later this year probably

I am very impressed with the sound quality of this DAC. It was able to tame down the subwoofer effect on my Aful Performers 5 and reveal more details in the midrange and high frequencies, making it perfect for my preferences. This DAC has a surprisingly compact size - you could fit it right inside your IEM carrying case. Overall, it's definitely worth considering this product if you value premium sound reproduction alongside portability.

Works flawlessly with iPhone 15 Pro max and the sound quality is at least 3 times better than stock.Great product from a great company.

This DAC is super tiny, like a button dongle that doesn't get in the way. Sound quality is much better with it, well worth it if you want berrer sound

Esta es una reseña humilde y honesta para nada soy un audofilico o un experto en este tema pero vi muchos videos sobre este dac y otros más y este me convenció por qué tenía todo lo que yo quería pero tiene sus pros y contras los cuales.1-Acepta micrófono osea puedes hacer llamadas con tus audífonos con micrófono en discord o zoom etc... Mientras otros no aceptan el micrófono que están al mismo precio o casi este si por eso me fuí por este ya que yo uso en su mayoría micrófono.2-El precio me costó 1730 pesos ni más ni menos pero por lo que veo a la hora de hacer está reseña cuesta 1900 y la verdad es que es muy bueno en audio y todo pero a este precio sería mejor un Fii0 KA3 que por reseñas y por tema de materiales ya que ese fiio no tiene el cable integrado y tiene menos riesgo de romperse ya que este si está conectado mediante un cable y aunque te diga en las imágenes de marketing que tiene buenos cables y son resistentes es un cable y está más propenso a romperse y dejar de servir mientras que el fiio ka3 no, si no me explico miren el fiio ka3 y me entenderán, a la hora de comprarmelo me urgía un dac y contaba con solo 1800 y me compré este pero por 500 más me hubiera comprado el Fii0 KA3 pero no tenía aunque ese desconozco si acepta micrófono o no.3-El MQA este es uno de los poquitos que puedes escuchar la MQA y se escucha muy bien pero también si es por la MQA existe otra opción la cual no salió hacé mucho y es el Fii0 K1 que también se vende por aquí y acepta MQA por menor precio pero también desconozco si acepta micrófono,e logrado sacar la luz roja,azul, y la rosa, la rosa es para MQA y se escucha muy bien la azul a mi parecer suena casi igual al MQA no entraré mucho en ésto ya que no soy experto en ésto, para poder escuchar la MQA pude mediante Tidal allí tiene mucha música con MQA y suena bastante bien pero tienes que pagar una suscripción cada mes para escuchar MQA para escuchar con la luz azul tuve que descargar la aplicación hiby music está en la play store y divagando entre la aplicación había una opción de escuchar mediante el dac con ese reproductor suena muy parecido al MQA con el foco azul y pude exprimir al máximo el dac suena fantástico con esa aplicación la recomiendo si tienen este dac o cualquier otro.4-Problemas que he tenido son varios al momento de entrar en la aplicación de hiby music y activar la opción de reproducir mediante el dac le doy en aceptar y todo bien eso pasa también en tidal todo bien hasta que cambió de aplicación y cuando pongo un vídeo no se escucha y es porque el vídeo se reproduce por el teléfono y no por el dac mientras que en aplicaciones como hiby music o tidal la música se reproduce por el dac y no en el teléfono por eso mejora muchísimo el sonido así que tienes que desconectarlo y conectarlo otra vez y listo ya puedes escuchar videos y audios de cualquier otra plataforma y el segundo cuando juego horizontalmente se me desconecta de la nada y es porque cuando juego así mi dedo lo empuja hacia arriba y lo desconecta la solución es nomás tener cuidado con mover los dedos y ya pero cuando se desconecta hace un ruido muy molesto y cuando es de noche molesta más que pase eso pero todo lo demás está muy bien.Por suerte no he tenido más problemas y cómo dije es bastante bueno ofrece muchas cosas que otros también otro tema es el consumo de batería en mi caso no consume mucha batería y esto lo vi en las comparaciónes de un vídeo que vi a comparación de otros este absorbe muy poca batería entre 1-2 por cada 15 minutos ya llevo un mes enteró y me encantó si me dijeran que si lo volviera a comprar la verdad diría que si porque puedes usar micrófono, escuchar MQA, suena bastante bien con la aplicación hiby music y es bastante resistente pero en comparación de precio si estuviera entre 1500 o si lo encuentras a ese precio definitivamente cómpratelo esa es mi recomendación y mi humilde opinión mientras tanto seguiré con este buen dac disfrutándolo gracias por leerme :)Posdata: este a comparación del Fii0 KA3 este tiene 32 bits/384 kHz mientras el Fii0 KA3 es de 32 bits/768 kHz una gran diferencia para las personas que tienes auriculares de alta fidelidad pero por lo demás está muy bien

Très satisfait. Le seul point négatif je n'ai jamais réussi à obtenir le mode streaming MQA (voyant led mauve) même en téléchargeant un fichier et en utilisant un PC. Bizarre.

This arrived last week and I have listened through it extensively since. First the sound quality: it's great with precision treble, clear spacious mids and amazing deep, clear bass. Instruments are very well defined and separated.I would say the only thing - and it is a tiny thing - it that it somehow sounds perhaps too precise on some tracks - hard to put my finger on. Otherwise the sound is absolutely superb, fantastic to listen to on both 'phones and earbuds. The bass is something to truly enjoy with good earbuds!A couple of things to be aware of:1. Although power consumption is small (I think about 50mA), the unit gets quite warm (it is so tiny there is not much heat dissipating surface I guess) and also if you connect it to a small music player (which I do sometimes) it will drain the battery quite a bit (I reckon it reduces the Hidizs AP80 Pro player from about 6 hours to 3 hours). Of course with mobile phones this won't make much difference at all. I tend to use it via a USB C hub to mitigate this.The other small drawback is that with very sensitive earbuds, the volume is very high and you can really only use low settings (1-10 on the Hidizs AP80). This is OK, but it would be nice to have more range. Of course with headphones the volume range is fine.When you see how small and portable this device is (I still can't see how they pack everything in!) you will be amazed!Mike.

utilisé sur un smartphone en branchement auxiliaire autoradio sur un systeme hifi bmw, et bien tout a changer , musicalité, precision, puissance. je ne peut pas le comparé a d autres dac,, mais c est une solution peu chere pour changer de gamme de son dans une voiture. je recommande fortement
