The E70 Velet lives up to what the critics are saying! Easy to operate...the remote control is a nice touch. For the money, it's a great sounding unit. Good sound stage and realism....

多分日本で売られているものではSabaj A20d 2023と並んでAK4499EXを搭載した最安値クラスのDAC。高級感のかけらもありませんが音は価格以上です。こちらと違ってSabajはヘッドフォンアンプがついていますがバランス端子があるのに2回路のOPアンプ1個しかなくシングルエンド駆動専用になっていてほぼオマケです。

A good mid range DAC. Streamed music and CDs connected to the DAC have a big improvement in dynamic range, clarity and musicality.

I was looking for a high-end AKM DAC and this one fit the bill. It sounds amazing but is a little bit too agressive in the highs. I expected more of a smoother sound with this one as it is the "Velvet" version and not the Sabre one... However it was filled with detail and free of distortion. I did give it away as a present but I've already started to miss its sound. Its a great pick in this price range.

My wife bought this for me as a gift. I've had my eye on this DAC as an upgrade for my desktop system. I have put it to the test in my main system where I use an MP-D1 Mk. 3 and have extensively auditioned the Schiit Bifrost II and the SMSL SU-10. It is certainly on par with these more expensive DACs. If anything the detail and instrument separation is superior to the Bifrost. The tone is more natural than the SU-10. It is more neutral and not as warm as the MP-D1 (tube output section), but it is certainly not a harsh or "analytical" sound. Overall, I could happily live with this as my exclusive DAC. For the price, it is an outstanding value. My guess is that it would be hard beat this with anything less than twice its price...it's that good.
