it is a bit covert but i wonder if it is covert enough, because i can see the hole for the camera iif you pay attention. other from that the set up was quite easy and the camera and video quality is good. i like that it can work without the internet with the built in 128gb storage

I like the blue and red indicator lights for the WiFi and SD card respectively. They will blink or stay solid, before turning off completely after a minute. Because of this, when you first plug this in, it will flash blue and red lights for the first minute; keep that in mind.The top surface has the camera and the reset button. They will not stand out to anyone not paying attention, but someone who is suspicious or just a little clever can notice them; see the photos. The bottom with the plug has a removable cover where you can put in an SD card. You need a prying tool to open it, which is included. Sometimes the SD card will get stuck in the slot, and I had to stick the pry tool to shimmy it out.This is not 1080p. This is 720 and the quality looks like a 2000s webcam. See the photo. Also, every time I open the SD card for the recording, the video file is named 'record.tmp'. I don't know what format it is, but it opens with VLC.I cannot speak to the app because I didn't install it. I don't want to share the camera's feed over the internet to god knows where.Overall it works, you can see what it records and it is relatively incognito. But it doesn't live up to the claims in the listing.

Camera was easy to setup. Have to download Camduck app. Plug in camera, link to phone via app, nice and easy. You can take still photos with app or record video. Picture is ok quality but NOT 1080p over the app. Highest resolution is 720.Motion detection works well. Camera uses 2.4ghz wifi and viewing recordings on SD card is slow. Multiple times I could not get the app to play back videos.Verified that the video files captured on the SD card were also not 1080p. Highest resolution was 720.Finally the unit gets warm when plugged into the wall.
