I needed some T connectors for my HitLights LED COB lights and thought these would be great for the corners too. Unfortunately, the screws are just a tiny bit too close together, so they can’t both touch the copper pieces on the tape at the same time. So frustrating.

I found these connectors while looking for L shaped ones as I didn't think T connections were possible. I as installing COB strips under a row of cabinets where the power supply is awkwardly in the middle. So the T type connector concept was a great solution to cover the whole length without any turns.Installation was super easy and everything looks and works great. I did tighten the screws after a few days usage as the lights started an occasional flicker. I figured this was the heat from the LEDs loosening the contacts as they are now running fine.These connectors are a great help if you are designing strip runs. Note that the screws have to tighten onto the copper parts of the strip and not the white part.

The description does say this connector is not waterproof, but it does not mention that it doesn't work with a waterproof LED strip which has a thick clear rubber protective coating. This connector is not designed with metal spikes to pierce the rubber coating to contact the electrical pads. It would probably work great for non-waterproof strips, but it would have saved me time and money if the description was more clear about compatibility.
