Our newest model features a one piece top of heavier construction, stainless steel reinforced hinges and a newly designed turning latch for positive closing. Same great performance, almost no drag pulling from a kayak so the bait can stay in the water all day. Fresh or salt water bait: shrimp, mullet, mud minnows, menhaden, porgy, pin fish and minnows.

I went to CA for a fishing trip. Caught my own live bait on the way out of the harbor and fished all day. Live bait stayed alive and healthy all day. A kayak must have if using live bait.

It works for its intended design, to be towed behind a kayak.I zip tied the two halfs and the hinged door to secure them better. Also added a bungee cord around the door and clasp, as additional protection against towing pressure.Requires two hands to access bait, compared to one for the spring loaded door of my Shrimp bucket.I prefer the bucket for wade fishing, with its larger capacity, smooth sides, and easy access. The Torpedo holds a few dozen Shrimp fine but I usually cast net 40+ whitebaits, so I may need a larger one.

I lost my bait a lot of times. I have a kayak so that works great for me but when I go back to get another shrimp out or Minnows , itβs open, and most of them are all gone.So I am going to put a new latch on. It may be used. Should think about that too. re-design the latch. Most people will pay a buck or two more. They have a decent latch on it.

Worked awesome the first day .. second day out had about a dozen and half little pilchards and next thing you know half the bucket is gone and all my bait is gone and there went my fishing day .π need to upgrade your glue or come up with a better way to secure your pieces together . Definitely moved smooth through the water as I moved in my kayak , almost had no drag .

to improve mobility and reduce drag, i needed a more steamline bait bucket for kayak fishing. this product fits the bill and works great! it meets all my needs. its narrow design also helps for easy out-of-the-way onboard stowing when not in the water.and now for customer service...the product arrived damaged on a thursday. it was a simple crack in the molded plastic, but the crack was in a spot where two pieces connected and the door flap would not close correctly. on friday i emailed the company to let them know and ask how i needed to proceed with repair/replacement, etc. i got a response email on saturday morning requesting pics of the damaged product. because i was out-of-town that weekend, i had planned to take pics of damaged product and the box it came in when i returned home on monday. a new bait bucket arrived on tuesday morning. wow! great customer service! i cant say how much i appreciate this type of service when problems do arise. thank you!
