As those great easy to use, the removal is easy just gotta be very careful with the threading on the bolt so it doesn’t strip

Are you trying some DIY torsion bar replacement or repair? Are you worried that a standard C-clamp isn't going to do the job for you? If so, Achilioson's Torsion Key Unloading/Torsion Bar Installation/Removal Tool may be what you're looking for!Achilioson's Torsion key/bar tool is heavy duty, all-metal (steel?) weighing in at 5 pounds. All the screws, nuts, and braces move freely and are easy to turn. The screws and nuts seem to take a lot of torque without deforming, showing how heavy duty they are.The only weak part is the poor welds on the bracket. The Amazon picture shows it all one piece, but the real one is a semi-sleeve with a steel nipple welded on. My pic shows how this probably is the weakest link in the tool, and potentially one that if it lets go while unloading the torsion bar will very much surprise the mechanic using it.Overall, the entire kit is still very good and way better than a C-clamp to get the job done. I recommend!

The torsion key unloading tool feels strong and dependable, making torsion bar adjustments much safer and easier. It fits well on HD trucks and SUVs from Chevy, GMC, Ford, and Dodge. The heavy-duty construction gives confidence when decompressing or installing torsion keys—no flexing or slipping under pressure. It’s a straightforward tool that does exactly what it’s meant to without hassle. A solid choice for suspension work.

We all know torsion bars are not to be trifled with, and must be handled with care. Therefore any tools used must be of good quality and up to the task. This is no exception. It is heavy duty and will handle the forces placed on it with ease.

Needing to do any front end work on a vehicle with torsion bar suspension? This tool is for you. By far the easiest (and safest!!) way to remove tension that I have used. Tool is super simple to use and works as described. Sure, I won't need it everyday, but this is one of those tools that will save you TONS of aggravation and allow you to keep all of your digits. Highly recommend!!

I have used the c-clamp style torsion bar compressors in the past and I never really felt comfortable with their installation. I was nervous that they might jump off, although that may be unfounded.I like the u-bolt style of this tool and when I actually get a chance to use it, I will complete this review. As of this moment, I have inspected the tool and found it to be well made, beefy and composed of good materials.Highly Recommended.

It's a great tool for the money, and I can say without question you will need it to install Lift Keys on a 3/4 ton GM truck.Fully lubricate the threads with some heavy duty moly grease, and do not use an impact wrench. I used a 24 inch breaker bar. You need to jack up the truck to unload the torsion bar before doing any work, even minor lift adjustments. It's a must have and for the price a fair deal.

This is a decent, pretty heavy duty tool. I initially tried a relatively small C-clamp to do this job, and it bent the c-clamp into the oblivion. Needed something heavier duty, so i grabbed this tool. This was used on a 2003 Chevy Silverado, and i used a long breaker bar instead of an impact wrench, was nervous about stripping the threads. Tools made overseas usually have that problem. But it survived without issues and got the job done. The price is not bad, i could have rented a free tool from auto parts store, but didnt want to drive back and forth, and everything worked out ok
