Starts making cubes fairly quickly after putting in water and turning on. Really nice to not have to buy ice from the store, filtered water is so much cheaper and takes up less space. Then I can make ice as needed.

Decent little ice maker! Quick ice! A little noisy, but I think most ice makers like this are similar. Spacious and looks nice on my coffee station. Good value.

The ice basket on this thing is TINY. Like, not enough ice for three people to have a decent amount of ice in their drinks at the same time. Making a lot of ice over the course of the day is great, but I don't need 6 tiny ice cubes put out every 5 minutes if the basket can't hold much.

I’ll keep this one short.The good: makes that great Sonic style ice that you can have fun chewing on. Makes the ice very quickly, and as far as ice makers go on Amazon, this one isn’t all that expensive in comparison to the others.The bad: no refrigeration on the inside as far as I can tell, so as soon as the ice starts making, it also starts melting. You can to monitor and continually transfer the ice little by little to the freezer as it’s being created so it doesn’t all melt.Overall it does what I want, which is making Sonic style ice. I can’t complain and have used it many many times already.

The first machine made a terrible squeal when making ice. They sent me a replacement and it left silver flecks in the ice. They told me the flecks were residue from water tests. Looked more like silver paint flecks to me. I ran 2 self-cleaning cycles and several batches of ice before finally asking for a refund. I really wish it would have worked, it was nice and quiet and makes ice quickly. I hope others have better luck!

Love the efficiency and speed in which this works. Produces a ton of ice quickly.My problem is it came horribly dirty, there was black chunks and tainted ice for probably 12 cycles before we could get it cleaned out all the way.
