I got this contraption because I get a lot of boxes in the mail and it's been hard for my boys to push down the garbage to make room for actual garbage bags. My elder son said this actually works really good so he doesn't have to use his body to force the garbage down, this does it all. You don't have to be strong to do it, even I can use it...but I won't because I have a house full of dudes. But if I had to use it, I could with ease. It gets the job done to make use of the outside garbage bin to the max. The size garbage bin in the picture is what it fits to work properly.

I'm using this awesome manual trash compactor for my personal use when racking and collecting my yard leafs for the season. The trash compactor is made from a strong and durable material. It is lightweight and easy to use. I feel that the price is reasonable for the product I received and compared to others on the market. I do wish that it came with strong straps. I would recommend for its unique design and durable build material.

My family fills up the bins for trash collection pretty much every week, and every time the can is even slightly overflowing the trash company charges a fine. This is a well engineered and simple solution to compact the garbage and get everything in. Its super easy to assemble, took about 3 minutes to get up and running. Works exactly as advertised. It stands up on its own so its super compact to store in the garage near the cans. The only thing to be mindful of is your trash can handle may not be capable of the amount of force needed to put a lot of compression on the garbage so care is needed. Just dont put your whole body weight into compaction. Works best on loose trash but also works on recycling/cardboard.

This techically works, but feels flimsy and wobbly. i think assembly with bolts instead of the snap buttons would have made it feel more robust. In addition, the presser foot socket is much larger than the pole that goes into it so its very wobbly.

Amazing for helping smash down the branches and twigs I'm trimming off the trees. They take up so much space that much of the bin remains empty but for the large branches I can't smash together, until now. The leverage of the tool works great, and with minimal effort I can compress all that dry brush without ripping my hands apart. Great contraption!

Our garbage gets picked up once a week, so often the cans are filled to the brim. We had one of those weeks recently and got to try this manual compactor and I was pleasantly surprised by the results.It was easy to assemble and very straightforward to use. I was able to take back about a quarter of the bin by compacting the existing contents and even added another full bag before taking it out to the curb.This is one of those items I didn’t know I needed until I saw it. It’s also very slim and takes up little storage space, which I really appreciate.
