These worked great the first time I used them. A couple months later (having been kept dry) they were badly rusted. I cleaned the rust off of them and oiled them but they just don't work anymore.

These shears are just like the ones in the picture. They cut well and arrived on time. I would recommend this product.

Product doesn't cut well. Instead grabs hair and rips it out in patches.

We decided to try this as an intermediary step to take off the lingering long hair while accustoming our cushingoid horse to electric clippers. While I can't imagine trying to do a full body clip with these, they worked well for us for smaller areas, for which they were designed.

Looks very ugly and totally different from the picture they display on Amazon (How it looks in the Amazon picture would be acceptable!) My parents used to have one when I was little and it looked much more delicate. I bought it for my 20-month old son as he tends to play with the cord when I use the electronic clipper. This clipper also came with a lot of grease from inside out. Now I can only hope it will do the job, but I'm really disappointed at the look, sorry to say that but even if it's for a horse it looks too ugly.

I thought this was well enough made for the price. It works smoothly and cuts the hair on my arm just fine but I was hoping to use it to trim my long hair cats tangles hair and it won't do that. But the ads don't say it will, it's said to be for horses fetlocks so I can't complain. I'll give it to my sister who has horses.

these are like an OA blade. they really do cut a lot of hair. really old school barbering. i got them as a novelty item but im using them now just to trim stray hair and flat-tops. pretty good quality and durability.
