HOW TO INSTALL THE TPMS SENSOR

step1

Loosening the tire:

Lift your car, remove tire and the valve stem core to allow all the air to escape, then strip away the tire.

step 2

Dismount the sensor

  • Dismount the tire: Clamp the tire onto the tire changer, and adjust the valve at 1 o’clock relative to the tire separation head. Insert the tire tool and lift the tire bead onto the mounting head to discount the head.
  • Dismount the sensor: With a screwdriver remove the fastening screw and sensor from the Valve stem, then loosen the nut and remove the valve.

step 3

Mount sensor and valve

  • Mount sensor and valve: Slide the valve stem through the valve hole of the rim.
  • Tighten the screw-nut with 4.0 Nm with the help of the positioning pin.
  • Assemble the sensor body against the rim and tighten the screw.

step 4

Mount the tire

  • Mount the tire: Place the tire on the rim, making sure that the valve faces the separation head at an angle of 180 degrees. Mount the tire over the rim.
  • Inflate the tire, check the balance before installing the wheel.

Garbage!! Bought two of these one of them was leaking from the valve stem four days after install and the other one lasted about 3 1/2 months before the valve stem was leaking. Had to replace both of these within 3 1/2 months.

I was looking for replacement sensors on the cheap. They came already programmed which was great. But alas, only after 3 weeks They need replaced. Unfortunately the return time has lapsed. I consider it a lesson learned.

With the programmer, it worked well, but took 2 tries to program them. No problems after installation (my tire store installed them with my new tires but didn't program them.)

Can't really complain for the price. Installation is same as any other TPMS sensors. Inflation takes longer due to some kind of internal restriction. My Milwaukee M18 inflator takes 8+ cycles of infalte/stabilize to top off a few psi. The OEM sensors only needed one cycle.
