this was very easy to install and with an OBD Module and FORscan, i was able to save $300 on a 10 minute job. dang dealerships are WAY too pricey.

Installation was easy. I initially believed it was going to work but didn't have a chance to actually use it until I picked up my new trailer, which was after the return date had expired, only to find it didn't work. Pulling a large trailer home with no trailer brakes wasn't fun. The gain button wasn't working and no matter what I did, it kept saying no trailer connected. That's after using Forscan to try and program it. I ended up buying one directly from Ford. Far better quality

Not compatible with 2011 f150 xlt. I thought the first one was damaged and got a replacement and it still didn’t work. Got a OEM one from the scrap yard and works perfect.
