This little contraption works as advertised by eliminating any slop in your hitch. I have a 2 piece adjustable drop hitch so I bought 2 of these kits, one for the hitch receiver connection and the second for the adjustable connection. These locked everything down and made it feel as if it was one solid piece. Made for a very smooth, quiet, and controlled towing experience. Highly recommend!

Using anti-rattle stabilizer when attaching bike rack will prevent the excess wobbling.

I hate having the tow hitch rattling on my truck and this dose the trick.Change I made- I bought new nuts with silicon locks for this, the nuts and washers that come with it would vibrate loose and have to be retightened on long trips so I went to my local hardware store and bought nuts with silicon locks built in, no more problems.

Install is easy, but not convenient if you switch attachments often. I only use it if I plan to keep something on for a while. It makes my cargo rack solid as a rock on my Jeep, but still moves on my wife's CR-V and I can't figure out why. Still worth the money. I bought this one in particular because of the rubber coating on the U-bolt.

Had a hitch tightener that fit over the main hitch collar and the bar that used several small adjustable set screws along each side. Was always a pain to put on and adjust and never stayed in place. Then I got this, and what a world of difference. Very easy to put on, takes seconds, and best of all, stays in place and stays tight no matter how far you go or how long you leave it on. Zero hitch banging! I would buy it again in a heart beat.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS AS THE PICTURE SHOWS. The steel plate needs to be mounted on the top of the hitch and the U bolt needs to be mounted up from the bottom. This forces the hitch to be pressed down in the receiver and the receiver holds the tongue weight. If you mount it as the picture shows with the plate on the bottom it forces the hitch up and puts the full tongue weight on the U bolt and it will fail.

it was easy to put together, but it was just annoying to figure out the socket wrench size. I wish it came with a paper letting me know. I had to guess and figure which size would lock it. i did it with my own two hands, but it needs more securing. I have to figure around the shed the actual size. I will append for any updatesUPDATE:12.18.2018sorry for the dirt all over the car, after all the rain and debris, its been cold and windy the past couple of days to wash the car. Anyway, it’s still in tact with no issues
