It works as an original part. After diagnosed my problem it came down to a faulty transfer case motor. After replacing with this one the transfer case started shifting again normally.

Perfect fit for 2003 Hummer H2. Slapped the new one right on without any problems. Total time removing my old inoperable one, along with installing this new one was less than 30 minutes. My 4-Hi and 4-Lo came back to life immediately. All you need for removal of old one and install of new one is a 10mm socket/ratchet and automotive silicon for when you seat the new transfer case encoder. Clean the area properly before installing the new one.

Fits a Hummer H2 2003 perfectly fine. I'm no longer getting the "service 4x4" message on the dash and can switch to all gears without any issues.
