I reused the original bolts and put this pan on. This pan even comes with the built in magnets for clutch material. Used the redline d6 trans fluid. Shifts like butter, doesnt seep. We will see what time brings, but this pan & the D6 fluid make this an affordable job. Cant overtorque plastic, it will leak every time. More torque is not better, use factory specs and it should be good to go.4 month update: pan was seeping a bit months ago. I tightened bolts just a HAIR and hasn't leaked again, factory spec is about 8 lb ft if i recall. which is barely past snug. i was mindful of that. the gasket that acme with the pan seemed to be poor quality. but trans is still going, can't argue with that

This pan lasted all of 13 months and 14,433 miles before it began leaking profusely. The gasket shrunk; I'm guessing from an incompatibility issue with the transmission fluid. To make matters worse, when preparing to swap on a new pan, the drain plug hex stripped out. Dropping this pan without being able to drain it first is a messy operation to say the least.Avoid this pan. I've switched to an aluminum aftermarket pan with a replaceable filter and a Felpro gasket.

Start leaking after 2 weeks! When I took it out i saw inside the filter and looked like piece of napkin filtering the oil.Not worth saving money on transmission filter

This product looks, feels and performs just like the OEM. I was a little bothered that you must replace the whole pan to change a filter but honestly its better. You don't need to worry about getting a proper seal with gasket maker or a warped pan. just drain, drop, wipe and swap. Thais came with all the parts needed. I did reuse the OEM pan bolts as recommended in other posts after holding the supplied bolts in hand they just felt light and not as solid. If this truck is around in another 10, 000 miles I will buy again.

3 stars and I’m being generous here. The only reason why it’s lacking the rest 2 stars is because it’s a good pan but please up the price just a little but include better grade bolts. The included bolts are very, very cheap made, it seems they are 2 grade bolts. Other than that it’s good I guess.
