The construction is cheap and cheesy. This is probably a $75-90 value. Definitely not worth the price.

We had this just a couple weeks and the bird would not coo coo anymore . I guess not able to return because its past the date.

This clock is both beautiful to look at and pleasant sounding. We have had this for 2 months. We enjoy it very much. It is well worth the purchase price.

After first thinking it wasn't working, it apparently wasn't getting enough light and the night sensor was turning on around 6pm. I moved it to a sunnier spot and that solved the problem. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that. If you're one of those people who wants to hear the cuckoo and music later at night, you can't. If it was a manual switch for this sensor, then it would be perfect. As it is, there IS a switch where you can manually turn off the music and/or cuckoo, and adjust the volume, but nothing you can do about the night sensor.
