This would be useful at home, but it's too big to carry around for use in restaurants, which is what I wanted it for. I returned it and ordered a manual handheld fan instead.

The product worked so well keeping flies and bugs away from the food on the tableBUT less than 50 days later, it broke and stopped working. JUST PASSED THE RETURN TIME. I tried changing batteries a few times, but nothing happened and it still remains dead.I’d advise not to throw away the box like I did since I wasn’t planning to return it.I’d also advise to use another brand of this product as the idea works great; however it shouldn’t break down that fast. Very dissatisfied and disappointed

When I first used it while eating breakfast on my patio, there were no flies. I attributed it to this cool little fan. However, a few minutes later a fly came and started landing on my food. The action of the fan seemed to do little to deter the annoying critter. I am going to give it a few more tries before I give up on it all together.

This is the best fan to keep flies and bugs away. We use it all the time outside. (And inside if needed). The blades are not hard therefore making it ok if you touch them. The battery life has held up for a few months. Easy to bring anywhere. Looks good too. Great quality. I will be getting more.

I HATE flies! Especially flies around food. So when I went to a picnic and saw these fly fans, and saw that they actually worked, I had to have them! Fast forward two days to when my Prime order arrived: my family and I went to dinner at a high-end restaurant, with my new fly fan tucked into my purse, ready to be brought out at the first sign of a critter. (Note: we live at the beach, and surrounded by marshes, so flies are a given.) Here comes one, hubby and daughter are appalled when the fan comes out -- until the waitress sees and points out that mine is the exact same brand/model that the restaurant uses on their patio tables. Bottom line: these things work to keep flies off food. You won't have to spend your time using your hand to shoo them.

This product works so good on your outside tables to keep flies off of your food. We used it just last night and it is lightweight and a great size. No assembling required just add batteries

Saw these in an advertisement. Thought it was worth a try, then put them out at a party table. Almost everyone at the party had just seen them at an upper end hotel or at a restaurant. They really work. Also if there are kids around they don’t get hurt by chemicals, bug deterrents or other clumsy machines. Great product

I did not have high hopes for this thing actually working, but it did a great job in the 2 times I have used it so far. Once on the back deck after being annoyed by gnats and other insects, but once I turned it on they went away. Surprised, but not convinced. Then used it for outdoor dining at a restaurant. Flies were buzzing around, but once I turned this thing on, they were gone (except the occasional rogue fly, but it didn't stick around long). Now I am a believer.I have standard Energizer AA batteries in it and it has been going strong for at least 2 hours. It is very quiet and very safe. No fear of even a baby being hurt by the spinning arms, as they are extremely flexible.If Treva is looking for a spokesperson, give me a call. I was a skeptic before buying this, but will not recommend it to all my friends.

Poor packaging, arrived in box but with one bent blade, therefore doesn’t work efficiently.
