The "D" that accepts the clip broke when I put my Ryobi electric chain saw on it. It's plastic. You need a metal "D". This strap is designed to fail.

I purchased this strap to use with my Ryobi Leaf Blower. So many of these shoulder strap kits come with a connector strap that are only long enough to fit around the narrow shaft of a grass edger. This shoulder strap kit comes with two different lengths and widths of a connector strap. Both connector straps were long enough to wrap around the handle of my Ryobi Leaf Blower, and I was able to connect it up to the shoulder strap easily.
