We make deviled eggs often for a large crowd and we’re using a 7 egg cooker. This definitely saves us some time, but the directions were hard to read (it took 2 of us to decipher; if ya know, ya know) and it was hard to tell when it was finished. Our old one beeps when it’s done this one is supposed to shut off, but the light would go off then come back on.

Initially, I was hesitant to purchase this product, but I am certain I made the right decision. It is exceptionally user-friendly to add water, stack eggs, and turn on. Within a few minutes, you will return to find perfectly hard-boiled eggs ready to be peeled and consumed. The cleaning and storage processes are also straightforward. One aspect I observed is that it is crucial to add sufficient water to prevent the heating panel at the base from slightly roasting the eggs. However, this is easily removable and can be easily cleaned.

The best part of this is that since it uses the steam heat, the eggs are not bumping each other as they cook, so they don't break. And this thing is so compact, especially when not in use, because everything nests together. It is so easy to use-just fill the water tray, load how many eggs you're cooking, and turn it on. It is so fast, and so easy to clean. I am definitely glad I got this.

I tried to make this work twice with 18 eggs. The eggs simply did not cook unless they were on the very bottom and even then, they barely cooked at all. The entire design does not produce enough steam to work. The instructions are poorly written. I am not sure a completely plastic device is ideal for cooking eggs. It just can't get hot enough, even with steam.

Love the egg boiler. Best part is I can use as many layers as I need. Super easy to use and auto shutoff is the best part. Works great and easy to clean after use.

Never overcooking my eggs again!! This thing is amazing. I love how easy it is to use and you can actually use the trays and cover to store them in the fridge. My life is gonna be much easier after getting home from work/gym.

So I wanted to love this so bad, my old one broke a while ago so I tried this one. I currently have eggs going in it as I just got it. Right off the bat, the cover lid is bent so it's hard to get it to shut. This is plastic. All plastic. So if you want to be steaming in a lot of toxic plastic that's fine ... However I won't be keeping this. The container that you fill for water is a tiny cup with one measurement in it. 40 ml. So, it doesn't say for how many eggs you're making to fill it where like every other one I've had in the past.The plastic cup also has a little thing in it that you're supposed to pop the hole in the egg with before putting them in. It does not work and it cracked the whole egg which has never happened with metal puncturing pieces. So I used a thumb tack to make the holes that I had at home as the cup is not good for the tiny hole making.Honestly, I've seen much better for cheaper. Yes it holds 18 eggs aka 3 layers .. but the rest of the quality is not the best. Not for the price it's listed as.I recommend getting a different brand/product if I'm being harshly honest.I will update on how the eggs come out if there were any other issues. I'm assuming the eggs will cook in it, but we shall see!
