This comes unassembled but is pretty easy to put together. It does include a storage bag to put it in when not in use. I do like the pulley system and it would be great if the legs were more durable. I would only trust using this with smaller animals and couldn't see it holding anywhere near 500 pounds. The intent is great but it lacks in durability.

Says it can hold up to 500 pounds which would be a black bear in my area. Seems a bit flimsy and I wouldn't trust it to hold more than 200-250 pounds.

The instructions on how to put this up aren't great but it's a pretty straight forward process. Once you know how to put it up and take it down, it's a breeze. It can also be folded up and not completely taken apart. Seems plenty heavy duty enough for our needs (deer and pigs). Safer than hanging animals from our tractor. Price is good.

As soon as you put any weight on it, the legs of the tripod begin to splay and it becomes frightenly unstable.

It’s a great product, very solid. I use it often, it is very sturdy. Easy to assemble.
