These make pulling arrows out of foam targets much easier! I would recommend to anyone in the market for the tips that are functional as well as accurate.

I have purchased Slik Tips previously and I have to say I really like their performance. I received a new pack yesterday and 4 of the 6 in the package would not screw into the arrow inserts at all. As a previous poster mentioned, it was not due to glue or corrosion of the arrow insert. I even tried to insert them into my other arrows that already had Slik Tips (purchased several years ago) and they would not go in. I tried to force them in by holding the arrow with one set of pliers and using another set of pliers to screw in the tip. That process only ruined a couple of my arrows. I would not recommend purchasing this product until they get their manufacturing process fixed. The ones that work really work well.

I am bowhunter of 30+ years. I used the slick tip arrowheads for a few years and they are still my go to target head for those tight straw targets at the public ranges or even my 3-D targets in my backyard. I am only replacing about 1 or 2 inserts each year compared to a half dozen regular target heads when I used regular target heads.I only rated 4 because because I still lose 1 or 2 in the hard plastic of 3-D targets. Not that I am missing the kill zone. I mean if the angle of your shot goes through the 3D animal target in such a way that the plastic legs are struck on the other side -- these heads are actually more difficult to remove than a regular one because the target plastic in the leg of a 3D target shrinks back over the arrow and make it nearly impossible to remove these target heads without taking down the whole target and using your foot to pull the arrow out or actually cutting into the target material to make a hole big enough for the arrowhead to be pulled back out. Again, even if you are accurate, a slight angle downward could cause the arrowhead to hit hard plastic on the opposite side and slick tips suck to remove in hard plastic.I still wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to other and explain their downfall which is only slight compared to the number of inserts and arrow damage that regular target heads cause. They look cool too! :-)

These are not really bad, they just aren't any better than the standard easy-to-remove target tips. I have a hurricane shooting bag and I have both these, and some generic Sportsman's Warehouse easy-removal target tips. The regular ones are slightly easier to remove than these. They hang up just a little bit trying to pull free from the outer fabric cover. Maybe these work better on foam block targets. I am not sure about that though. I would save your money and just buy the regular ones for 1/3 the price.Another note...as other reviewers mentioned, the picture is misleading. The tips that came were black, not green. I was disappointed slightly because I think green would have matched my shafts and fletching better. Oh well....Oh, and to top things off, my other tips are the same weight as these yet seem to group tighter, go figure...

These are great tips. Plus the fact that they're not black, like every other field tip, is nice. I wish they had a green sleeve like in the picture, but they're still sharp looking. The flight of the arrow isn't affected at all. And they really do make it easier to remove the arrow from a 3d/foam target. I will definitely buy again.

They are pretty good. shoot like field points. I sighted in my bow with them and they shoot consistently.I dont really have any complaints. They are easy to pull out of the target unlike others.

I shot 3D for two years with these and just ordered some new ones. They are nice and easy to pull from targets. Well, after missing the apple at the Rinehart 100, a couple steel bucks, and a few times shooting a 20-30 yard target with my pin at 40-50, it's time for some more. Good product.

These field points are just wonderful. They look great (NOTE: The green bands around them were black when I received mine, which was awesome because my shafts are black and pink. You might not be as thrilled) they come out of the target easily, and they're very durable. This is a purchase I don't regret.
