Got these for trout fishing, they are sharp, you can de-barb them easily, they hold bait well, especially minnows. But I find they straighten out quite a bit on 14" and up size fish. Perfect for crappie, blue gill, rock bass.

Only 7 hooks per package. Hooks are great for minnow or worms for panfish.

I really like these hooks. While I think they’re actually designed for worms I use them for minnows as well. In size 4 they work great for panfish and easily pull out of snags since it’s made of thin wire.

Panfish strike probability and hookup ratios are no better than a regular cheap aberdeen. The red starts wearing off after 4 or 5 catches. Flimsier than regular aberdeens from Eagle, etc. An estimated 2.5 lb bass latched on, bent the hook 30+ degrees and escaped. I expect way more for a buck a hook.Also, the package listed quantity at 7, but I received 6. Due to a software issue on Amazon's part it took me 3 calls to make it right.
