Buy these and a sight pusher and do it yourself. It was an easy install with a inexpensive sight pusher.Easy to track sight in dim or dark.

So i bought Trijicon yellow and green night sights for XD on accident meant to order the all green but they dont really let you get a refund or ship them back since its from a 3rd party so be careful and make sure u order the right colors…so i didnt want to install the yellow and green so i bought Truglow for much cheaper and just had them installed and they are very bright and im impressed with them looks great just hope they dont burn out too quick and also hope the warranty truglow mentions is true and i can have them replaced if they lose their glow like some have mentioned but so far worth the 60$. Ill install the trijicons when i have to send the truglows back for replacement (hopefully not anytime soon!) Oh and they were shipped to me in a day so that was a big plus. I say choose these over trijicon if youre on a budget and want brighter but dont know the lifespan between the two yet.

Tight fit as all sights are, a sight press and file are required again like all sights are. Great fit, visibility, and illumination.

These are much harder to install than glock sights. Even harder to get the old ones off my XD. Sights are great but even with a good metal sight push tool it took time and adjusting the slide in the tool a lot. Id recommend paying a gunsmith to install them if you want to keep the warranty and not risk scratching anything. Unless you got like a $200 tool and know what you are doing, my $50 tool struggled. For that I took off 1 star because most people could easily end up messing up the finish on their slide or get the sights on and the gun doesnt shoot straight. If you know what you are doing and have the tools do it, like I said I got by with a $50 universal tool so it can be done but if you are a new gun owner that just wants better sights and havent tinkerd much with guns or you want to keep your warranty, pay your local gun store the $20 or $40 they charge to install them.

Nice. Tall sights and sharp edges. Bright in no or low light. Sharp contrast for daytime shooting.

Was looking for a set of night sights for my XD45 4”, it’s primay job in life is to do noting and wait for a bump in the night that most likely won’t happen. It goes to the range and gets fired about 300 times a year. But the factory sights have never been that impressive for me. Accurate, but in impressive and useless in low light.I have other firearms that came with or I’ve installed Trijicon or Tru Dot sights on but these Truglo were completely we for me.They arrived on time, well packed and seemed fine in the packaging. I looked around at various sources to determine the difficulty in installing. It seems Springfield XD sights tend towards the more “stuck” type and a fair amount of force is required to move them. Weighed my options and decided to have a smith do the job.Pros:Very cost effective!Flat leading surface in the rear sightSmooth no snagMetal housingGood sight picture in lightThey’re just as bright as Trijicon sights in the dark (see pic) the left is Springer 1911 with factory sights (year old) the tru glo’s, on the XD (on the right) are as bright and slightly bigger.Cons:These are not Trijicon sights. So if the name is important? The front sight is narrow in base width( looks odd in the dove tail.)Overall they’re nice for the price and my local smith installed easily, no marks or trauma to the slide or the sights. Very serviceable at a fair price, a great value!

I have heard so many stories about the sights are loose or don't fit or they won't come off or they have to pay a gunsmith 50 bucks to put them on. Well , this is what I did. I took my XDS apart and put the slide in a vice. I had heavy cloth on the sides to not damage the slide. I put drops on Kroil on the rear sight and front sight to loosen them up. I let it sit for about a day. I used a punch to knock them out , no problem. Next up , I used that same punch with a small piece of rubber in between the sight and the punch to move the sight into place gently tapping it. Use something other than metal to metal to not damage the sight and do the same with the front sight. Then use the small allen wrench ( included ) to tighten up the back sight. I used a Digital Caliper to make sure the sights were on evenly , they were. Toke it out to shoot and it works great. Great price and very bright.
