This casement operator is constructed of a diecast body, a hardened steel arm (with a steel guide button at 9/16 inch in diameter), and a case-hardened worm gear mechanism that comes in a corrosion-resistant plating. It features a square-shaped housing and an operator crank handle, and comes finished in a bronze colored baked-on enamel finish. This casement operator is right-handed, determined when viewing the window from the outside looking inch This operator is a surface-mounted crank-out design for casement windows and mounts with six fasteners. This high-end quality operator exhibits minimal gear lash, with positive and smooth operation. For the opposite handing of this operator, see Prime-Line part TH 23026-1. Installation fasteners and a set screw (for affixing the crank handle onto the operator spindle) are included with each operator. This operator provides a full 90-degree opening and disconnects easily from the sash. Use Prime-Line part TH 22397 for replacement track.

Purchased a 9" and 13"; neither worked with my window configuration. Returned both together in same shipping box. Only received credit back for 13". Contacted Amazon Chat for refund status; haven't heard anything back. $30.

Look like original but are missing a bend that makes it impossible to install. Bought a left and right one that are useless. You dont see the missing bend in the photos. Be careful

Old window crank stopped working, worn out bearing surface. Original manufacturer of window crank no longer in operation so only few choices, selected correct length and hoped for best. It was exact size of old one so no adjustments had to be made to install. 6 screw holes in mounting bracket and 4 matched old one. Very easy replacement once trim is removed for access. Color doesn't match but after 32 years, don't really care, just happy it opens. I will buy more for other cranks that are wearing out. Just be careful ordering left or right, the "left" crank at least to me should be a "right" crank but at least view is correct.Update, just bought 2 of the right hand versions. Ditto for the right version, fit great, easy replacement.

This was an exact replacement for casement window hardware for windows that I installed in my house in 1980. They were delivered in two days.Pro tip: Clean and grease the track on your window sashes and all your hardware should be good for another 40 years!It only took 10 minutes to replace the hardware.The most difficult part was removing the wood window stop that covered the screws.

My original casement window had a Truth operator. This Prime-Line replacement operator is exactly like the original except that the edges are slightly rounded and it has extra screw holes to match a variety of models and brands. Once you remove the sill stop, installation is easy and this replacement is well made and works great. I suggest you watch Youtube videos on how to measure the arm length (wheel to center of gear) and how to remove the sill stop, which covers the operator.

Nothing even close to like the original. It's been a few months and the gears are striped and this isn't a very used window. It's in a room that no one is in. Very poorly made in my view.

The unit itself works and fits perfectly fine. I had a problem with the crank handle (I ordered 2 units) and both d id not seem to fit??I contacted prime line and they were amazing, first they offered to send me a free replacement handle however I didn't think that was the issue, my previous crank handle with set screw just sld down on the gear no problem. They had an expert let me know that this crank handle is spring loaded so extra pressure is required to push it down until it clicks. Problem solved! Product works smoothly and company support superb. What else can you ask for in life?
