The units that worked were really cool. Unfortunately 4 out of the twelve we bought were either damaged outright or assembled so poorly that the wire pulled out from the battery unit immediately and were unable to be repaired. We bought them to give away to the kids on a annual camping trip w extended family. Some of the kids were extremely disappointed to say the least. Couldnt return the broken ones because we gave away the good ones. Check out if they ALL work before needed

Bought these to make a rainbow for my daughter’s Halloween costume. Most of the strands worked, but unfortunately the yellow and Orange were DOA. Tested with multiple battery boxes, and nothing. The rest of the colors were fine but a bit dim.
