Mantels tear at the bottom EVERY SINGLE TIME as soon as the propane hits it. It shrinks to fit and continues to shrink until the bottom tears. One mantel completely tore and was separated from the bottom

These are not half as good as the coleman #95 they are fragile and when you turn on your northstar to full bore it blows them apart!

These are better than the coleman mantles.. still fragile but not half as bad as the coleman brand mantles.

Thicker mantle, easy to install on my Northstar lantern. The light was excellent and the mantle is still intact after 2 uses
